- Valentina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian professional mixed martial artist and former Muay Thai fighter. She competes in the women's flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship , where she is the current Women's Flyweight champion. Shevchenko became champion at UFC 231 after defeating Joanna Jędrzejczyk, whom she also previously defeated three times in amateur Muay Thai bouts. Shevchenko is widely considered one of the best female fighters in the world. As of March 9, 2020, she is ranked #3 in UFC women's pound-for-pound rankings.

Absolutely! And Just like Khabib she is super respectful. Not in there always talking crap on people. She and Khabib are my most 2 favorite fighters. Just on there humble attitudes.
Her Judo is so incredible. I think it’s not talked about often because of how great her striking is.
She definitely showed it in her fight with Andrade.
You can tell she’s been doing it for years and she’s also way stronger than everyone else

She's definitely got a lot of physical assets, but I think what really sets her apart is her attitude. Not too many fighters, MMA or boxing have that kind of seek-and-destroy mentality. A lot of fighters fake it, but when you watch Shevchenko closely you can see it. Her mindset isn't compromised by anything, she is in that ring for one thing and one thing only and that is complete annihilation of her opponent.
