This is absolute proof that pilot Robert is an incredible pilot indeed. I have seen many guys flying this wild bronco with a flight controller and within seconds start to breath heavy and get rattled to the core. It takes experience and great feel to fly this without a FC stabilizer. You still have "it" even with your hand condition now. This bronco can get out of sight so fast that Michael Whinnery suggested use of the ZOHD Kopilot is well founded. The GPS can bring it back home and also help with the launch. The toque at the launch can easily get things going wild as I think happened here, but you tamed it right away. I been told that using it in FPV mode is like sitting in the cockpit of a real jet flight. I know your not so keen on FPV, but your love for jets and this in FPV mode may change your mind completely about FPV. As kids we dreamed about flying jet planes and this I think would be the closest thing to it without all the military training. I am too old for that now anyways lol. But I would love to try this out in FPV. I don't think it would be boring at all. Pilot Robert = Giant salute! You one amazing pilot.

2:20 i started with playing simulation, learned landing, flights, 3d performances and then i thought after 2 months of sim, i am ready.
boy i was not ready. (i was ready 50%) turns out the nature is brutal and uncertain than environment in simulation. crashed 3 of my well crafted freewings but that was a great learning curve. now i don't crash anymore.
my point is in order to learn you must be ready to take risk and risk always will have some chance of crash but don't discourage yourself from it. just do it.
It's been a bit since I've checked in to watch, and of course I was pleased to see nothing has changed! Love it.

Fast flight, smooth landing.
All wings should have some reflex, I would leave trim as it is and move battery forward a little. If you zero trim and move battery back it will make for a very unpleasant flight. Beautiful maiden and great flying and filming.

I agree also..i like all my planes a bit nose heavy...but it would be interesting to know what this plane flew like when he moved battery back...

That thing is a pocket rocket, great hand launch, awesome job flying, and really good job Capt. Blaz on filming. You could put in a Eagle A3 Super standard Gryo from Motion RC, it would make the hand launching much easier. I always order the Gyro with the programming card, very easy setup this way. You could also build some sort of catapult system which would make launching these wings and small belly landing jets much more easy to launch.....

Admiral Reciever/ Stablizer from Motion Rc. Now has 2nd A. Zohd, stable toss on wing to not risk fingers, . Take not Eyes from plane, lol.

If you install the zohd kopilot lite in there it has an auto launch function that will protect your hand from the meat grinder. It also has GPS and flight stabilization.

You Brothers make my day! Some advice-on planes like this, the best way to launch is to hold it by the wingtip. Depending on the prop rotation you hold it either canopy towards your side or the other way. The torque rolls the plane upright as it leaves your (safely out of the way) hand. 3/4 throttle and a nice toss! I know you guys are the king of tossing! Salute! and Merry Xmas!

Nice !!! I fly my Teksumo on a 2200mah 4s on a 6x4E prop it's great fun. Wings always need some up elevator trim to fly it's not a CG problem 👍

Even my butt was clenching and I wasn't flying! That was fun! I had not heard of this one since I've been taking a little break from flying but it's quick! I'd like to try it FPV because I bet it has some wicked axial rolls huh? Can't wait to see flight 2!!

Also you can hand launch that plane from holding the top of fuselage. The arch up of your hand will clear the prop.
