- Welcome to The Engineering Guide!
This is part 2 to the fluid flow around circular cylinders in order to study the von Karman effect. See part one linked below. In today's tutorial, we will see how to set up the CFD simulation for the fluid flow around 2 cylinders in tandem that are separated by 4D. In this video, I also note the modifications you can make to this simulation if you have a different distance seperating your cylinders or if you have 3 cylinders instead of 2 cylinders. By completing this simulation, we are able to see how the number of cylinder and the spacing between cylinder will affect the von Karman effect.

you are my important cfd teacher, love you❤
Easy to understand, such a good video.
thanks for the video, it helps me a lot to understand ansys
Great. I wait for your next videos about fluent
amigo muchísimas gracias
can u make the dynamic mesh from the PIG in pipeline or the flow animation please?
could you please help me to let me know the cylinder to oscillate in y-direction when it is induced to a flow ?
Dear sir,
Please make video on fluidelastic instability on circular tube
sir how much time it will take to end the simulation after initialization.
