- Recently we tested 2003 Lexus RX-300. This car has three open differentials so any locking emulation is performed by VSC. During the test it turned out that the system is not working therefore we will test the car again when the fault is repaired.

Hello, I have this model (Rx 330 2005) . The VCS light is on. How can I turn it off? It turns off when I disconnect the battery and reconnect it. But when it starts to move, it lights up again. Please help me. I apologize in advance if there are mistakes in my writing, because I am writing from Azerbaijan.
Hello. Difficult question, something is causing the malfunction of VSC system, it may be ABS sensor but also some other reason. In this case it was due to LPG problems.

How you have fixed it? In my case disconnecting battery for some time fixed it or at least VSC light went off and had cent diff lock in real life situation if I'm not wrong, but now VSC light is on and it wont lock center differential
There is no center differential lock, VSC uses only brakes. Unfortunately I don't remember how was that fixed and what was the reason of error.
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers I apologize it has limited-slip center differential and some models might have limited-slip rear differential. VSC is Vehicle Skid Control and it helps vehicle from skidding so it has nothing to do in these tests. I was testing this in real life situations but couldn't find anything other than beeping noise. When "VSC" warning light is on it says there is problem somewhere in the vehicle skid control system, traction control system or brake assist system. So my guess is that when your VSC light was on there was a problem somewhere in traction control system, in my case too when VSC light was on I got stuck on ice only one rear was spinning
@@nicholasnoniashvili2790 Center differential is open. For the rear there was optional torsen differential. VSC is Vehicle Stability Control and it includes traction control system which brakes slipping wheels. It is crucial for this test. Two more videos:

I have a question: how is that possible for a transverse engine awd car spin rear wheel only like in this Lexus? Because in theory the rear wheel is connected to the front wheel and cannot spin independently?
This car has center differential. That has nothing to do with transverse or longitudinal engine.
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers oh I get it, so even in a transverse engine the power is transferred to a center diff before front wheel? I always heard some people says if a car is a transverse engine then it means the rear wheel is powered by front driveshaft and it means it is impossible to spin rear tires independently, looks like they are incorrect.
@@averagedriving3979 Of course they are incorrect, there are many cars with transversely mounted engines and standard center differential. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is the best example.

Actually both. I noticed that it is not working and then we checked what is going on.

But does it have a fault in the dash or did you have to scan for codes?
@@ast5515 Both. There was an engine check fault in the dash (what owner told me before the test - caused by lambda sensor if I remember well). And VSC, what I didn't know before the test. Two codes, first error is the reason for the second one, I don't know why.

Wjedziemy. Chyba, że dojdzie do sytuacji, kiedy przyczepność poszczególnych kół będzie się bardzo różnić - wtedy samochód utknie.

My lexus rx330 check engine and traction off light came on this morning so I unhooked battery cables and hooked them back on lights went out but was making a sound and idling rough got to looking and it was out of coolant put in the coolant and back to normal lexus took a licking and kept on ticking even though no coolant Toyota motor wins period 😀
