- Today I'm reviewing the Nike Air Max 1/97 SW Sean Wotherspoon! The SW Airmax 1/97 released on Air Max Day in very limited quantities. The AM 1 / 97 was designed by Round Two store owner Sean Wotherspoon. The AirMax 97/1 Sean Wotherspoon features a full corduroy upper and denim accents. The SW Air Max pairs an AirMax 97 upper and an Air Max 1 midsole and outsole. Check out my review to learn more!

Nice vid. Good content as usual Seth. I’ve watched Round Two the show since the beginning so I’m a huge fan of Sean’s and these shoes have grown on me. Didn’t like em at first but the style and colors and materials r just too unique and 🔥. A must cop. I tried on several platforms and L’s all around. Oh well, can’t win em all. Keep urs and resell them or trade for perfect fit. U can’t lose.
I saw some dude on the subway wearing these the other day, was hella mad but impressed at the same time

ive never liked any o the air maxes but there something really cool about these. i think it's cause it was made by a guy who was just a fan of the shoes, he had the idea of wanting a shoe that is different from what nike had to offer. The colorway would not be liked by that many sneakerheads if it wasnt on this specific shoe. he swapped the leather for corduroy, which would end in a riot if wotherspoon wasn't behind the design. And he changed the mid sole and sole to a air max 1. No one at nike would've ever thought of that. I like this shoe because wotherspoon is a real creative and really made a shoe that is so weird yet so loved by the hype sneaker community.

At first i didn't like those but now im a fan definetly one of the best air max!
I like air max 95’s & 97’s plus but I was never excited by these. I can see why there is hype etc because they stand out from most shoes and people like that. The designer has great imagination and I look forward to seeing what he does in the future.

These for me fit tts with just a bit more room for longer toes. I’m typically a 11.5 in 97’s, 11 in AJ1, and 10.5 in AF1
I won a pair for retail in my true size and it was just too big. I sold them and ordered a pair a size down within minutes. They’re that good! A must have.

How quick does the corduroy start to look vintage? I don’t plan on wearing these often but i would prefer them to look fresh out the box.

i bought mine TTS 10.5 and it fit perfect on me despite seeing so many people say to downsize, but of course everyones feet are different

Its a great concept i almost dropped the 600 on it. However seeing how the corduroy starts to shred after a few wears also realizing it has more feminine under tones glad i didnt bite the bullet on the hype

Corduroy doesn’t fray or “shred” quickly. At least my pair hasn’t. Worn em everyday for about a month and the corduroy hasn’t frayed yet

Love this shoe, but I think it definitely will be much better when rocked with shorts and no show socks. I also heard that these will be restocked, someone please enlighten me as resale is ridiculous right now.

Hey Seth, I ended up getting a 10.5 when my TTS is around a 10. I've done something a little bit sacrilegious and put in a boost sole from my size 10 Ultraboost and it fits pretty well.
Nisarg did you put the boost sole under or above the stock soles?
Ryan Astorga I've put it above. Found it to be a decent fit and the comfort is pretty good.
Compared to af1, do they run same, larger or smaller ?
