You're on the right track. Idril should have your best gear for the first run through probably. And she needs to be churning through her ult quickly. She should be able to take down that single guy on the right if you time her and Dolores ult right. It's a little wonky because you can't pick really what she aims at but with the right tweaking Idril should be able to deal with that guy then immediately drop Razaak/Nyx over there. With POD she should just destroy everything.
This is what I’ve also seen. I’d throw aspan in aswell to take the hits and to help take care of those yellow things the boss summons (these steal idrils attention and stops her from attacking the right side) but you’re almost there like this guy said but you do need to take care of those yellow things before using your ultimates with idril and dalores. Since you don't have invisibility options for the right side, you could use Maul on the right-most tile on the center platform pointing towards the right core to cover it. He has to be strong enough to bring the enemies down with his ult w/ a boost from Dolores
I hate to say it like this, but I'm incredibly grateful that you posted this video with you driving the struggle bus. I've been stuck on this stage for weeks and have spent hours and hours trying different comps/heroes. Not having any sort of piercer lord hurts because I can't get anybody in range of the boss. I've been trying a similar base comp, with Idril and Delores and Laurel to try to keep Idril's ultimate up as often as possible. I have the exact same issue where Idril isn't targeting the proper minions and I get overrun on the right side. Evidently the "answer" to that is to use Alaura, who can be invisible (and who I don't have). WoRGuides has a pretty good video on how to clear it but I couldn't replicate it.
Idril will target the guy on the right UNLESS the adds from the boss are up... she targets them because they are closer (EDIT FOR CORRECTION - The mobs the boss spawns have a TAUNT ability, which is why Idril swaps to them). But if they are not, she targets the closest enemy to the portal.
close but no, she targets the summoned adds because they have the "taunt" ability causing your heroes in range to focus them. like it says in the monster info page at 22:19 into the video when he looks at it
you have to put your best gear on Idril. Having 2 high cost aoe archers is a detriment. The issue you face with the right side has 3 solutions, but mainly 2, Hatssut, Alaura the are invisible so then can do damage until they use their ultimates the 3rd opti9n is Vargus, but he really sux at it.. I run a similar team to yours but somethinh like this... Put aspan back in.. so you drop idril middle row, rop right, followed by delores behind her asap.. then hex middle row, top left... left row drop razaak or nyx. then drop your healer middle row behind hex.. then as soon as aspan is ready drop from in front and center.. with w decent idril and hex build you dont have to worry about the right row.(the mobs the boss spawns taunt idril then her ulti focuses on them), between hex, idril and aspan taking out the taunting mobs upfront, once they are clear, idril(during ult) will shift focus to thw enemy that spawns on the right row. Thats the cycle, kill the boss' spawned mobs quick in order to kill the boss faster meaning idril has more time to focuz on the right hand side. Another thing i alwayw notice and always mention too... you do not take advantage of idrils passive. You should trigger idrils ult, then delores and hex etc... she gets a huge damage spike when allies use their ults during hers. its all about timing ultimates during idrils to make sure she gets the damage boost
You're doing great for going in blind! Keep in mind, Idril gets a damage boost during her ultimate every time someone else uses an ultimate. So you should always use Dolores after Idril, rather than the other way. Gear Raid 3 is FAR AND AWAY the hardest, with the steepest champion requirement. You either need Idril to eat the entire right side, or you need someone with Invisibility. It stinks, but Idril can do it.
You can use laurel next to your Dolores and Idril and get her going again, nyx and raz are good for the left side. Hex with idrils help is your best shot at the right side, since you don’t have hattsut or alaura
The solution is easy. Laurel Idril so you have her ult nearly permanent. You may have to switch better gear on Idril but she can nearly solo this stage if she got good enough gear. You got the left side already figured out. You can (and probably should) place someone on the right side, but that one probably only has to help in case the Idril Ult runs out at the wrong moment. Marri could help, so you only have to hit it with a few arrows of Idril to kill it. You can give her some tanky gear so he can take the hits. I am sure you got everything you need to beat the stage, you just have to put it together correctly.
The front monsters auto taunts your archers so it seems idrils got ADHD but it all comes down to timings, everyone is saying but laurel + iDril is a good tactic. You seem to have all the damage you need
Center heroes should compose of Idril with best gear, Laurel ( to control the right side mob) , Dolores, 1 tank if possible (to catch flying bombs) and your Hollow. Left side should be your Nyx+1 healer ( if not possible make sure he is tanky at some point to take 1 hit, that being said the boss well hit the last hero you drop. Your right side should be your razaak after the single mob has been killed by Idril.
You should place Idril first so she has her second Ult before the boss moves forward a square. Also switch Hollow and Vortex so that Idril can get off more ults. Idril should be able to clear the whole right side and center with a little help on the solo right square. You can also try bringing in Laural so you can get more Idril ults. Idril will prioritize center targets as soon as they boss moves up a square.
Theowin and Maul can handle the right side. Mauls attack will right to the right side. You can also use Laurel and/or Hollow so Idril gets her alts back fast.
I actually beat GR3 19 with Hex on the right side. He did have support just in case he died. ( thats why I also had Volka in the team for the revival time reduction) The trick is to use his ult before the big mob appears and Hex needs to have enough damage to kill it before his invisibility ends. (or almost kill it so the hero(s) who support the right side can finish the mob(s) before they reach your crystal)
Strip Nyx and place her on the bench next to Kia. Maul is 5 cost cheaper and does a better job. Idril should be in your best gear. Bring in laurel for rage regen. Put idril down first. Place her where you where putting Dolores. Place dolores under hex so both of them get Dolores ult. Laurel can go down in the spot where idril was to regen both hex and idril and Dolores. Your left will be fine with razak and hollow. Take out vortex. Maul can point sideways also toward the right.. above idril. Morinne can also point right. Few ideas for you to play with.
She aims another enemy approaching the soul contact if there is not an enemy in her normal range to hit.. so before you click her ultimately into action, you should make sure there is not an enemy in her normal range. So she can target another shit
idril will hit the right side units if the boss has no adds in front of her, if you time your other hero ults while idril is using hers the next attack she does after an ult does bonus damage. hex isnt super great for gr3 as he does magic damage and the enemies have high magic resist. the boss will also target the last champ you drop down with her magic missle attack. so you can guide it where you want it to go. you dont need many healers or high cost people here. razak can handle the left side by himself.
I know Everyone is throwing advice left and right but razak doesn’t need a healer the boss just hit the last place hero so hollow should go in the middle for more rage regen and you need laurel for rage regen. And as much as he sucks Aspan in the middle might help kill those taunters in the middle so idril can kill the right side then place maul or razak on right side to kill the back wave coming in
U definitely need the laurel, Idril and dolores strat U most likely need a hatssut or alaura on the right unless u have an op idril getting crazy rage regen
do you have vargus with good gear he can take the right side invis the whole time for 19 also brienne with ichor chalice can sit up front with her split shot shes really helpful
Gr3-19 is my only gr past 18 and I got lucky enough to have alauriel? She can solo the right side with no heals if you save her ult only for the three adds up top.
I had silas whit 9k att 350 attack sp and 300% crd, and idril whit pretty much the same stats but a bit less attack and I could not do it, and then i pulled percier epic lord and I cleared it at once pretty much silas and idril together whit delores and Laurel kills the boss whit silas first auto and the idril clears everything els every other hero I use is to boost idrils ult autoattack, but the lord was what made ut possibluu.
Might have been said but on the right lane vailed champs don't get hit. Without that you might have to have idrial be the only one who kills that red cross mob.

I put Dolores buffing Idril and using Laurel to get their ults back, it was tough but squeaked through.

You need Olague at the top of the platform to take the damage from the dive bombers

3-19 made me want to pull my hair out. I had to cave in and look at tutorials. Getting idryl to shoot the right mob is like teaching math to cats.

You can tell by the damage you can 100% beat this it's just a matter of strategy. You should get Maul in the mix he does cc and big damage

Drop idryl immediately and use her ult to take out the enemy on the right

This is a "need Hatsut" level, or you need Fastidious to do it for you. Only ways that I have seen work.
