    Dude, I've been deliberating over which instant camera to get for months! Thanks to your videos I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Lomo'instant Square Glass (might've inadvertently got it for free), and am looking to pick up an Instax 210 as well. Thanks for all the awesome content, you rock.

    High quality video! You inspired me to buy both the instant square and sx-70 sonar. Thank you and please keep making videos!

    I have the issue that I am interested in some of the Instax gear but shooting non Polaroid seems just wrong to me. I am on the verge of making the leap with the Lomograflok back. Shooting instant 4x5 again might be my gateway drug. Your videos are awesome and I look forward to watching all of them as they come out. Keep it up!

    Just got into instant photo, I used to have a Holga and have been into photo for most of my life. Your videos are great, thanks for all the info. Just got an SX70 for $120 and I can shoot 600 film natively and also i-type with an external battery pack. Bought a Fuji wide 210 for $35 and a Fuji SQ10 for $50. Love this hobby

    Honestly I like the OneStep2 more than the OneStep+ because the plus for some reason has always issues with film jamming or the shutter not responding, and I've had mine replaced more than 3 times, so I know it is a trend

    • @JustAnotherChris
      @JustAnotherChris  Před 3 lety

      Hmm I have never had that issue with that camera and I have used a few of them outside of the one I own. That’s interesting. Thank you for letting me know!

    I am planning to get a camera.
    If the price is not an issue,
    Which camera is the best for me?
    I like big (wide or polaroid) and clear pics.

    • @JustAnotherChris
      @JustAnotherChris  Před 3 lety

      Still comes down the preference. I would recommend instax if your just getting started so a wide camera.

    Would you recommend the Lomo Instant Square for a complete beginner? I'm getting an instant camera for my girlfriend's birthday, I think I prefer fujifilm instax cos of the cheaper film.

    • @JustAnotherChris
      @JustAnotherChris  Před 3 lety +2

      Hmmm great question. I think for the price I would say yes. The Fuji one tends to run a few extra bucks

    Dude, steer clear of Retrospekt: they are a mixed bag of reviews and I tend to see more bad reviews than good. I know they offer the conversion by itself and it's pretty cheap, but they have a bullshit return policy if something goes wrong. I'd sooner call Brooklyn Film Camera or literally anyone else who works on Polaroids that will, at the very *least*, stand by their work.
    Also would love to see a vid on your whole collection!

    • @JustAnotherChris
      @JustAnotherChris  Před 3 lety

      Hmm that’s interesting. Aren’t they one of the only approved Polaroid repair shops?

    • @instantcharlie1225
      @instantcharlie1225 Před 3 lety

      @@JustAnotherChris Maybe, but that could be some contractual quid-pro-quo kinda stuff since Retrospekt helped Impossible during their acquisition of Polaroid. That's if I'm remembering that bit correctly (I know Mint did, and I think Retro jumped on that too), but I do know what I've heard about their services and Retro hasn't had the best track record.
