Clay Bundy has a great reputation. My understanding is his outfit does not hunt on Sundays, so you may lose a day of hunting. This would be a good thing to ask before booking and making your decision. The house located in the unit is a great asset.
The first one he passed was decidedly bigger than the one he shot. 🤦🏼♂️
When younger bow hunted the strip 13A with an over the counter tag. Spent 5 days on water holes and only saw one other hunter.

It was a guided hunt. Listen to your guide is a golden rule.

Sounds to me like you're nothing but a trophy Hunter there is much much more to the hunting that as a guide myself I'd rather have my hunter leave happy with a smaller book that he picked out did the biggest one on the mountain I think you need to re-think your ethics about hunting in the way you look at it

@@cottonkiller8081 let me explain it to you this way, No one, and I mean NO ONE puts in for a strip tag for the meat! Do they process and take the meat home and eat it, of course. But, knowing that the odds of drawing one those 2 units twice in a lifetime is a complete mathematical fluke, Most of us residence wait upwards of over 20 years to draw knowing there’s 200 plus inch bucks in there, and it has nothing to do with “ethics” and everything to do with the lore of those 2 units and the monsters they produce. So please don’t question my ethics, I eat what I shoot and would rather eat the tag than take a 170 inch buck. 🤙🏼

Not the biggest deer on the strip but a damn trophy!!
