About this channel: We are the Smith's. A Christian family of 6, living in the country just outside of Georgetown, Texas. Granger, an author and former country music singer, Amber, an actor and stay at home mom, and their children: London, Lincoln, River (who we lost when he was 3yrs old) and Maverick.
Love to see Mavi enjoying the tractors with Granger. My 23-year-old daughter is also getting her tonsils removed next month on March 21. I will pray for Lincoln for the surgical team and for quick healing.

Warning ‼️ Amber you may not read this but may be I can help other parents out. This surgery they wanted to do on my Daughter and she was doing horrible they wanted to do it immediately . We decided to do research and we took her off all sugar and we were in a rental that had animals in it. We moved into our new house and with in two months she was back to normal and didn’t need surgery it has been 9 years since then. Don’t do it just remove the animals from your house inside and cut the sugar it is so inflammatory. I pray you get this and at least try it if it doesn’t work then do what you have to. That surgery is painful and in most cases does not work per some people we know that did it. We prayed and God lead us in the right direction. I hope this helps others.

My kids did so much better once their tonsils and adenoids were removed. I also had 2 kiddos that had to have ear tubes as well. Out of all 3 of my kids my youngest was the worst with the most swollen tonsils and adenoids to the point the ENT didn’t know how she was even swallowing or breathing!! Lincoln is going to do great and in the end is going to feel so much better. ❤

My oldest son had that surgery 50 years ago, it was the best thing i ever did for him. He was a sickly little boy, after the surgery all the sicknesses left him. Thank you Jesus.

Keeping Lincoln in my prayers 🙏. As a kid I had the same surgery. Lincoln will feel so much better. I hardly have any problems with allergies. Plus you can breath so much better.

My son Justin had severe allergies from an infant until I insisted they finally test him too. He is allergic to everything outside for all four seasons. He did allergy shots for 5 years and it helped so much. He is an adult now but still thinking he made need his out. Good you’re doing it while he is young. Praying for a successful surgery and recovery time. 🙏

I was kinda concerned that the baby would take off in the side by side. I was glad that he didn’t.
Lincoln was a trooper with the allergy testing. That can be rough to take.
Us kids [triplets] had our tonsils out in Kindergarten.
I remember the sore throat when trying to swallow.
I remember being wheeled to different rooms before the surgery, i remember the taste of the bag/medicine as I was sedated, and I remember being in the crib-like bed afterwards.
I have googled pictures from around that time period to see how accurate my recollection is.
I am now 55 years old.
I had cats growing up. As a teen and young adult, I definitely knew that I was at least allergic to dust and cats.
I'm allergic to trees, grass, dust, cats. I will say that certain dog dander makes me itch a lot. But maybe it really is dust, grass, and tree particles on dogs?
I definitely can not itch my eyes/touch my face after petting a cat. :-(

Popsicles are the best thing about getting tonsils out!
Both my boys had that allergy test and both of them take zertec and nasacort nose spray daily. My oldest is allergy to all hay trees and cats. My youngest is allergic to 6 out of 9 molds crazy. So year round allergies. I put fans on hay have air filters in them in rooms and that has helped some with allergies.

I remember finding it so odd when my son was tested that cockroaches were a common allergy, and yes - he was allergic to them.
My mom was a nurse. She had 5 children. On her vacation, she had all our tonsils and adenoids removed. 5 patients huddled in 1 huge room. I remember eating ice cream a lot no more sickness after that

Many ppl are allergic to dander ,dist,grass..even cats..but many can also live with all that..and most times there are things to take to make it bareable..only cure is to live in a bubble..

As a long time allergy sufferer, get him on shots. I didn’t get on shots till college. If I had been on them as a child, it would have been better, because the immune system is developing more when young. Now I’m 40 and still suffering. Cedar and oak and ragweed are my worst pollens.

Amber, I can answer the last part, they won’t give you results over the phone for confidentiality reasons, they can’t confirm who you are over the phone so it’s best to get the results in person than some stranger knowing your personal details and the medical centre being sued. Lincoln is a tough little guy, I’m sure the surgery will go well. ❤ Michelle
Maverick should be wearing a helmet when he goes on those machines he is too small he could fall off better not take any chances ,he is so adorable .

I wasn’t giving unsolicited advice it was a concern on my part.We had a 3year old child we know fall off the exact same one when riding with his grandfather he fell off and tragically passed away and he was a responsible human being .I am not judging just an observation .

Lincoln will feel so much better once they remove those tonsils etc. I got a sinuplasty done with a balloon two years ago and I feel so much better now that I can actually breathe through my nose. They wanted to do allergy testing on me. The doctor said that I definitely had many issues inside my sinus cavities including a bone spur or something like that. I know the word bone was used lol. Sorry for the lengthy comment Prayers for Lincoln to have a successful surgery.
God can heal you whatever you're allergic to and you have to talk to your Mountain and you just have to have faith and you can't have no doubt and God can heal anything because that's how much Jesus loves us

I had my tonsils removed at 20 after several infections that caused my tonsils to swell up so bad I couldn’t eat or speak. Haven’t had any issues since they were removed!
If Lincoln's results show allergens to certain things, you may be able to do an elimination diet/lifestyle change and see a dramatic decrease in his inflammation. We've done that and were able to completely cure inflammation and no longer needed medication and surgeries. Dairy was causing sleep apnea/tonsil issues, gluten was causing eczema, and several other things we've fixed.

Looks like Maverick keeps you on your toes. I am concerned he's on all those cars without a helmet he could throw get thrown out of those or fall out of those very easily and then he's on concrete. Don't want anything to happe...
