Can we just use the winners' NatCos in the international pageant they will individually join into? I think any one of these costumes can stand alone and stand OUT in such prestigious platforms. It also allows for our Intl NatCos to serve as an introduction to the little nuances in our otherwise highly diversified culture.
To the Binibinis and the designers, you all did a great job of representing your city, your culture, and the Philippines as a whole! Kudos to everyone 👏👏👏

I love how the organization worked harder from the VO master to the presentations of Natcos. They have 3 exposures for the natcos. Indeed too much is never enough for this pageant. Too, the simple lighting and stage background exemplifies the color, details and meaning o their representation.

So theatrical with the dark backdrop and the spotlights! This set up highlighted each candidate making us appreciate the ladies in motion in their regional costumes. The details were emphasized with the close up shots. This by far is the best batch in terms of costume craftsmanship and overall appeal that more than a dozen can be a great choice to be worn by any of our candidates in any international beauty pageant.
I wish though that the ladies should smile more and minimize the fierce chin raising and lip pouting execution. I also find the music a bit eerie. We have lots of festive sounds that would elevate the mood of the candidates and viewers. This is a celebration of the diverse culture of our country after all thus a more upbeat and fun music should have added to the oomph of this otherwise great presentation.
My personal choices for best in national costume are Iloilo's bulalakaw, Pampanga's banig terno and Samar's kalesa. Special mention goes to Bulacan's Flores de Maria and Masbate's bulaklakan terno.
Binibini Pampanga No. 22, napa-WOw ako from the inside... Maganda at Elegante.

I love Masbate's Bulaklakan Festival Costume for the International Show like Miss World, International, Earth or even Miss Universe, etc. It will show our queen in a very sophisticated and beautiful way. She still looks elegant and not awkward even though we know that the costume is actually heavy. National costume has no added points for our queens to win the title in the International shows and competitions. Thus, let's not make her look awkward, haggard or endanger her by making her wear those dangerous, heavy and untested/unpracticed costumes just to win the Best in National Costume consolation prize. E.g. Pia won the title while still looking elegant in her National costume. She does not need to win a best in national costume prize just to win the final title and the crown.
