Nightshade's notes: Okay, so I was sure I'd scheduled this to post tomorrow, and here it is, live, and I haven't even finished the description yet. Good job, Nightshade. Heck, I wanted to be there watching the first replies come in! Grrr....
So it's the middle of the night, I thought I'd have time to write my notes up tomorrow, but I don't want to leave this unfinished now that I know it's published. I read this chapter of the script and my heart broke. So painful, to love someone, and not be fully what they need. Chimeratech really did an amazing job with this one. Kodokuni is, as always, a darker character than I think I usually do, in many ways -- but the main reason is, well, the obvious one. She's a weapon. Her purpose is to kill. But even with that, she has a heart. I don't know how or why she forged a connection with her master, but I find the story beautiful, and I hope you do, too. Thank you so much for being here with me, my dear royal court and royal knights.

Her loyalty to her master is truly without measure. She anchored them to the earth when they were slated to pass on, escaped a bismall existence as a collector's prize, and restored the listener to their original well being. No mortal could ever accomplish that. Cool audio My Queen! LOVED IT!!!😊💚👍

You guys both did amazing! I honestly was pretty tired when first listening, so I don't truly understand enough about how we just survived in the woods for 6 months, but it was an awesome audio! I was also wondering what exactly you meant by other spirits keeping us alive- were they the trees spirits? If so, I thought it would be cool if one day the mc came back and managed a deal with the dynasty or whoever is ruling to make the place a sacred grove to prevent anyone from cutting down those trees and killing their spirits. Maybe I misunderstood what washappening, but either way, I can't wait for the next one!
@@jenniferchristian7212 Hey, Jennifer. The spirits in question are meant to be the other swords; Originally, I had the plan to have the MC and Kodokuni in the void together and discover the other sword spirits. I've gone through a fair few revisions, and landed on this one instead. One of my notes is to about this part, so I won't say what the official change is.
Though the idea of spirits in the trees is interesting. We'll see.
I wanted to add that I don't think you did survive for six months. Or I guess really I'm asking whether I'm right about that. I believed that a large part of the reason Kodokuni was so upset was because her master's body was... in considerably bad shape after being dead for that long. And that the sword spirits' assistance was in bringing MC back to life. Am I right, Chimera, or did I misunderstand?
Oooooooh okay, I thought the spirits were preserving our body during that time, and that we were on the brink of life and death for 6 months or something like that but I totally missed the spirits being the other weapons. Another question then: Why did they help us? Could they have tried to hold on to their own masters? If not, would they really want to help the person who killed their master? I guess I was too sleepy to really understand the situation lol
Fellas, is it too much to ask for a sword embodied with a spirit so loyal she brings us back from the dead? Also I’m imagining we run into someone who saw us die and we just say “I got better” lol
ngl, in a really fucked up way, murdering those that stole her and using one of their corpses to reanimate our body because she couldn't bear to be apart from us is one of the most romantic things ive heard of in a while

Well. Seems our evil sword has taken a turn towards the better and gained some inner growth. She's sacrificed much to save him. When she could've just let him die and found a new master. She cares for him now. So much so that she sacrificed someone else to bring him back. Wonder what will happen next. Great story, well done.
I mean, she's dabbling in human sacrifice and necromancy now....
I don't think she was ever evil, really. She's... a sword. A weapon. She exists to kill, and it's not something she can change. I don't think you can really judge her in human terms. And she still kills without mercy, just... now she has a purpose that's a bit more benevolent than revenge. Now she knows how to love. ❤️

I have something like 14 active series, yes, and I think maybe six of them have scripts that are ready to be recorded? The thing is, I keep doing audios that I think are one shots, but the audience clamors for a part two, the author gets inspired, and I mean heck, I'm not going to just *drop* one of my stories, I want to see it all come to life too! But it's a good problem to have. I'm fine, don't worry, I promise to take breaks, relax, and take care of myself. 🩷

I wouldn't say so, Kodokuni had to go to a helluva lot of effort to bring you back, and I'm not sure she could do it again. I'm not the author, so I could be wrong, and maybe you _are_ immortal now - but if that's so, they haven't said so in this script, so I don't know anything about it. 😝 I hope you enjoyed it!
