I literally saw this coming across my recommended page so I’m going to vent below.
I’ve have a few long distance friends (they live in Virginia) who I met in 2021. They are the type of people who I could talk to for hours, who make me smile, who make me happy that they’re part of my life, and who feel siblings to me. I visited them during my spring break and it’s wet. I feel the most happiest. When I’m with them, I feel like myself. I feel like I have nothing to hide from them and I feel like I could be open to them about anything. Recently, I have not spoken to them in months due to a lot of reasons like anxiety, life hitting me with a ton of bricks, etc. I want to be able to text or call them and catch up and ask them how they’re doing. Maybe probably visit them again. However, I keep overthinking in my head that I might mess up or they might be mad at me because I’ve been distant. I really miss them a lot. I think about them a lot, and I see them in my dreams as well. I really wanna talk to them again without having anxiety that they will be glad that I haven’t reached out in months.
