To immigrate to the UK as a software engineer using a Skilled Worker visa, the costs will vary depending on the duration of your stay. For a visa lasting up to three years, you'll pay an application fee of £719 (approximately €834), and for more than three years, the fee is £1,420 (about €1,647). Additionally, there is a healthcare surcharge of £624 per year (around €724 annually). You must also demonstrate that you have at least £1,270 (approximately €1,473) in savings to support yourself unless this is covered by your employer for the first month.
