Yep. Now skipping an ad means skipping the current ad playing, not both. Pretty sleazy move.
I've noticed that too recently and I've tried to report them and they never follow up with removing the ads. They just ignore the issues and keep on sending out more ads, even the same ones, instead of practicing what they preach by getting rid of them.
Thank God I wasn't the only one who noticed that

This is more aggravating for pausing because I have to do so, sometimes repeatedly, in a video to read what is on screen or the captions. If I was on Twitter I would say it is very "ableist" because it affects those who are hard of hearing, bad sight, or need adapters to read what is on screen. Hmmm, maybe some bad PR would stop this? Doubt it though.

I will probablly never forget the time i was in a 3D modeling class in school and wanted to look up some tutorials. 5 tutorials together gave me collectivly 18 adds (i was keeping track cuz it was so absurd). It got to a point i kept nudging my friends to look at my screen and everyone laughing in disbelief whenever it happened again and again. Absolute insanity

I recently watched a 15 minute video, and got TWO ads every two minutes, plus two at the beginning. All of these were unskippable 15 to 20 second ads, all for stuff I had no interest in.

The issue with pushing Premium is it’s not about value. It’s hard to justify rewarding CZcams’s ongoing scumminess with money that won’t actually remove the vile ads from their site, or all of the gross content farms. It’s just CZcams using ad saturation and anti compete techniques to bully people into paying them, and nobody wants to reward that

I think it's even funnier how the devs just did a great community interview where they immediately fixed a lot of players' QOL issues.. and then they just shit out all of this, not even a week later.
Should be noted: The EOD edition was removed from sale a few months ago, as the devs where gearing up to "release" the game and start making DLC's, which was a decision supported by players as EOD was meant to be the "I played the beta, payed over $140 to fund development, so I should get some cool things" edition

Nah. They’ve been doing the ‘ads whenever you pause’ thing for a while on the TV version of CZcams.
It is way more obnoxious than you’d imagine.
The timer for triggering the ad is very short. If it was like 10 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour and guaranteed to be skippable, it’d be fine, but no, it’s like a few minutes. So if you take a very quick bathroom break it’s guaranteed to play an ad as soon as you unpause, you just have to sit there.
I close the video every time I get an unskippable ad longer than five seconds, which is, unfortunately, a vast majority of the time.
It was probably only “successful”, because ads on the TV version prevent you from looking at the recommended tab and the video description/comment section, forcefully closing both as soon as the ad(s) starts playing, so if there was a comment you were reading or a video you were about to click on, oh well.
Oh and the unskippable ads tend to be between 40 to 50 seconds long. Almost an entire minute.
More ads, more pressure to make better adblock.

ya Bethesda breaking mod support for Fallout 4 doesn't surprise me, they did that with Skyrim like 3 times now. They don't have to maintain mod support but the fact that Skyrim and Fallout are some of the most modded games ever and the mods are kind of the reason so many people still play these games 12 and 9 years after release should indicate that they should at least care about it.
