    if you need to focus on winning the game then don't push yourself to feel like you have to commentate while playing. your dubbing over afterwards is super insightful so i defiantly like it better 👍

    Still appreciate your vids, and prefer the dubbed commentary.
    It let's you drink, takes breaks and go easy on your voice, while giving additional thoughts post-game, as well as let you focus when playing.

    It's good to get an overview of how you describe what you were thinking and explaining strategies and moves folk make etc. I enjoy that content as it teaches the likes of us low flying players.
    But I enjoy both types of content. Real time reactions are also fun.
    So both are good. I'm no help at all basically lol

    Superb games.
    Agree completely about your idea to make the shadow beacon not automatically reveal its location. This would bring it more in line with the GDI bombardment ability, which EA unfairly buffed when in patch 1.02 they made snipers not reveal their location when spotting. That was a glaring imbalance, since the shadow beacon did not get the same treatment. Your fix would improve balance and make it more worthwhile to use the specter bombard ability (which currently is often pointless because the beacon is too easily taken out after the first volley and before a the target would be destroyed).

    Could u also add the quick command to the sidebar for the emp countermessure the temple of nod enables? I think people never think about it cause you need to select the building for it.

    Great vid as always Leaf. Personally, I think every faction should be able to heal its infantry squads back to full strength. I think it could make infantry a much more attractive option because you could heal up elite/heroic infantry squads that lost members up to full power. All the Nod factions would seriously benefit, particularly the Black Hand. Imagine a fully heroic, upgraded, and healed Cabal squad with a Black Disciple and blue flame. I don't think adding that function would fundamentally change anything in the game though. If every faction has it, it doesn't really impact gameplay. I mean... GZ would probably find something wrong with it but the rest of us would be okay :)

      I agree wholeheartedly with this. This would improve balance and reduce a longstanding annoying game design flaw. It has always been ridiculous that Nod infantry cannot heal, since all of the other infantry in the game can heal. As Leaf mentioned, it is very frustrating to have a low health commando that you basically need to kill off if you want to have one with reasonable health for a big engagement or just about any other use where one that is already almost dead is useless. It is doubly frustrating when you have a ranked up unit that you cannot heal. Even though a heroic unit will autoheal, it cannot replace squad members, and so if you are lucky enough to get a heroic Nod infrantry unit, you can easily find yourself stuck with one surviving member, which has a lot less DPS and survivability than it would otherwise.

    Nice work with the vertigos.
    One thing about the specter beacon, you can maybe use the shadow team to guard it against rifles long enough to complete the target.
    Great finish btw. I loved that no-hesitation click when you saw the jugs were out.

      I agree that this is an excellent idea. The other option would be to make the secret shrine provide healing/lost squad member restoration. I think either option would be a welcome change. Stylistically I kind of like the statue idea more (it would give another reason to make the underutilized statue/voice of Kane). In either case it would be very important to enable squad member restoration or else it would still be very annoying to finally get a heroic infantry squad that only has one or two members left.

    No prob on the commentary. Goes well. Glad to see thıs great game stıll beıng played. But to ınteoduce a new element, ıt should be able to sell/destroy vehıcles at the war factorıes for half value. Just to get some cash, when strapped.

    I love that MoK is actually good cause i know that in Vanilla they performed so poorly, but Ive only ever played the Campaign,
    Also i don't mind Dubbing but seeing how you have gotten really good. Id rather you focus on playing and then dub afterwards

    Green Zero should tweak his GDI builts a little bit if he wants to win
    I would love it if he actually played some Steel Talons with the adaptive armor mammoths that are basically impossible to EMP.Throw some firehawks and hammerheads in there and some sensor pods on the mammoths and youre pretty much good to go

    Hey Leaf I was just playing some Tib Wars again and noticed that a GDI rifleman drafted from a silo only cost $250 instead of the usual $300. Is that also the case for the newer versions and in Kane's Wrath? not sure what version here.
    For making APC rifles to combat brutal disintegrator swarms, that extra $50 off is a nice option to have.

    i don't think Nod need a inf heal due to their eco advantage. its the only thing that GDI has to make up for no eco boosting abilities is repairing commandos and zone troopers. also nod inf supposed to be cheap and fodder

      Exactly! Unit revival and resilience is to GDI what "stealth and cheap" is to nod. This would obviously break nod!

      ​@@MrJeffreynho This may have been the case in the original game, but with the many balance changes in 1.02+, GDI was substantially buffed and Nod was substantially nerfed. One could argue that the current situation is broken because Nod's ability to inflict economic damage was massively reduced with the combination of the reduction in Catalyst missile radius (done by EA, and I agree that nerf was needed) plus the further nerfing of the Catalyst missile by CGF in 1.02+ such that it cannot even kill harvesters. The latter (CGF's nerf) was too much, causing NOD to no longer have enough of an eco advantage to offset the GDI armor/DPS, especially with the massively buffed juggernauts in EA's official 1.02 patch. I think the Catalyst missile should kill harvesters, because otherwise it is too weak otherwise (not to mention silly, since the whole point of the catalyst missile is to cause a tiberium-based chain reaction, which should kill a lowly tiberium harvester). Additionally, I think the imbalance in favor of GDI from the 1.02+ changes should be fixed. The best way to do this would be to reverse the 1.02+ buffs to GDI and nerfs to Nod, but short of that then fixing some of the issues with Nod would help. Allowing infantry to heal would be one example of a useful change in this regard.

    Nothing should be done about the beacon. They're dirt cheap (cost nothing). And can already be used for vision. GDI has to sacrifice a 1000 credit unit just to get the same. This makes the sniper units not revealing themselves on artillery strikes fair compared to beacons which you can spam!
    Unless you make beacons at least 500 credits your "balance" suggestion would break them! Especially vs GDI since their stealth reveal costs waaay more than other factions stealth accuisition!

      Snipers are also the only stealth GDI has while you don't even need to immobilize your shadowteam. They can place a beacon and go do something else!

      Another idea I have heard was making cyborgs repairable at the warfactory. The thing is though mok is already insane so that won't help things lol.

    I prefer commentary over the game but don't create extra work for yourself if you have good in game commentary already
