Hey bro thanks for the watch...yeah...Arrma has it nailed with the Mojave's. That ground was rock hard and they just took the beating...i crammed more than 2 hours of extreme bashing into 18 odd mins. I didnt show 60% of the abuse they took...NUTS😅💪🏼

Hey bro. Thanks mate. Was tons of fun i was shocked everytime i had a massive crash, they would still drive one...wow
Even if the Maxx Slash is more durable, the drivability of both the Arrmas exceeds the Traxxas MS! The Maxx Slash is almost undriveable and can’t stay on its wheels! Out of the box the front springs are loose and the wheels catch the body. Along with a pathetic servo and servo saver you’ll spend most of your battery trying to trim it properly so it doesn’t turn on its own! At $700 I figured Traxxas would’ve had aluminum hex’s on the wheels and at least make them 17mm! Once again they slapped some extra parts together without seeing if it can actually drive! Great video and keep on bashing!
Couldnt agree more. Point is...the Arrma Mojaves are superior trucks. Traxxas have good products but this is not one of them. Why make a slash basher? Cant understand that to be fair. They could have made it great, but decided to recycle and made a platform that cant properly drive. To me a SCT must be equally as driveable as it is tough....well...it falls short in one of those categories from what ive seen👍🏻 Appreciate the watch mate💪🏼

Did you have any problems fitting a 4S hard case into the Mojave? I was considering shaving down the battery tray nubs because it was such a flex to get one in.
No issues at all with fitment. They are very snug which is perfect. The Mojaves are great trucks! Thanks for the watch matey👍🏻🫡

I have the Maxx Slash and a 6s Mojave. While the Mojave is tough the Maxx Slash has fared better so far for durability. Especially the bodies. The Mojave splits in the rear and creates tears up the whole back. The Traxxas does to. Just no where near as bad. I love both trucks. But the Maxx slash hasn’t needed anything fixed. Can’t go wrong either way
The body on the 4s BLX is unfortunatly prone to rip for some reason. My 6s one is really tough had it for 2 years now. Still same body. The Mojaves just look and feel more purpose built trophy trucks than the Maxx Slash from what ive seen. Its a refined product for what it is more than the Maxx Slash. I just dont feel like if i had a Maxx Slash in the mix with this test i did for this video, that i would have been satisfied as with the two Mojaves...but yeah thats just my opinion. I don’t know man. The new Slash is rated at 70mph. It will most definitely be faster. And judging off the Traxxas video, it looks like it handles big air jumps well. I am new to the hobby (2 months). I only have the Xrt ultimate and sledge. The slash shares the same power plant as the sledge. And the sledge is fast!

I'll openly admit to liking Arrma more but I also own a couple Traxxas. Traxxas is known to greatly exaggerate box speed. It's been proven over and over. I also know for positive that both a Mojave and Fireteam are quicker and faster than a Sledge stock for stock. I have both Arrma rigs and have 3 buddies with the Sledge and have race them all a ton. My Xmaxx says it'll go 50 plus on the box but it's really not close to that. I'm not sure it's even 40 straight out the box. I think Talbots ultimate was 38 or 42 with high speed gearing. Traxxas always puts that * on speeds. Arrma will usually get really close or in case of the Infraction and Felony exceed advertised speed.
I very well made and up with a Maxx Slash but I don't see it being faster than the Mojave 6s and as this video proves it'll be a job to be more durable.
@@boduke9428 hey bro i agree with you. I speed tested my Xmaxx in my last video against the MJX and i got 42mph on stock esc and motor. Not close to the box speed claims. I was suprised when Kevin got 42mph on his ultimate with the speed gear...how does that work. So no difference between the stock and speed gear then? Mojave is boss i my opinion. I thrashed the hell out of them in this video. I didnt include 60% of the footage as the video would have been to long...anyway thanks for the watch. Will see how the Maxx Slash does...i want to see properly durability test it. I believe i properly tested these 2 Mojaves in this video😬

Arrma are way better supported in NZ than Traxxas. But they are still very expensive! Arrma tough baby 😂

@techspac3 I owned both Mojave trucks actually. Sold both of them because the 6s wouldn't stop bending the chassis and the 4s would break the front bulkhead about every 3 times I bashed it. I have many cars from many manufacturers, every manufacturer has good vehicles and bad vehicles.

The Maxx Slash is more durable, so you can't really say these are the toughest on the planet. But the Mojave drive way better. The Maxx Slash drives like a Taco. It's messy and gets all over the place.
I doubt that the Maxx Slash will be more durable...time will tell. I havent seen anyone really bash it hard yet.
I got allotttt of arrmas nd traxxas.
But my Maxx V2 has been abused like hell. I only have changed the tires and 1 shock cause I drove over it with my (real) car by accident.
If the Maxx Slash is even halve as strong then the Maxx, then the Maxx Slash will destroy the durability test of all other Rc's
And my Arrmas (Senton,BigRock,Infraction 3s, Vendetta, Typhon V1,V2,V5) Kraton 4s V1 broke more often then my Traxxas cars (Slash Ultimate,Maxx V2,
,2x Xmaxx, XRT)
Hey mate i also have a Maxx v2 which i dearly love. My pins to the c hub carriers popped off when jumping so i replaced those with alu parts and now its been great. Fantastic trucks👌🏻
