I haven't played EQ in 20 years and I have no intention of ever playing it again. Yet, here I am watching every new video. Keep up the good work.
Samsies... but I would love to play again sometime. Played since phase 2 beta (as I was apparently some extremely lucky as junior high schooler nerd...!) and quit pretty much right before velious released (about when WoW came out, but never played WoW at all eventually ). It’s just such juicy nostalgia-ness...! 🙃
I came back after 17+ years and after I stumbled a bit getting back into it, I have to say I love it more now then at the beginning

Definitely one of my fave channels! You're doing a great job and bringing back so many fond memories for me. Kunark is a really fun expansion. Back in the day, you'd have to watch out for trains at the entrance of KC -- it was a HUGE experience zone, although we spent more time in LoIO and Sebilis. Cheers!
Off topic, but: do you remember a Halloween event turning lesser fay sky red. Cazic Thule corrupted the zone. There was a dagger that dropped from imps, that had a fear proc. I used to weapon swap dot props and fear kite solo with my rogue lol
I don't know about that particular weapon but I do remember Qeynos Hills' sky turning red and a bunch of higher level skeleton's running around. There was this special quested sword you could do.

An enchanter and druid/bard/ranger(anyone with sow) can slay the pirates and drovs and kill for the teeth.
Also there is one you can find with a note that you turn in to start, or finish the quest for a really nice 1hs great quest

The Shaman Cudgel quest should have been in this video!! Can technically be done by non Iksars, but much easier as an Iksar.

The Skyiron Cudgel? Wow, I can't believe I remember that; I haven't played EQ since 2008 and I was never a Shaman. 🤯
And the Greenmist. I stopped playing while in the middle of that, can't remember where I left off on my DE SK, but one day I'll finish the darn thing.
Loved wurmslayer. On p99, spirit wrecked cords is a nightmare.
Wurmslayer and Lamentation were my my go to weapons on any warrior/Shdw I played.

Back in the day, I was one of the few Barbarian shaman that actually completed the Iksar Cudgel quests for shaman. I don't remember the name of it, but I remember having to kill a ton of elves and they hated me in FV, but it was worth it.

Kind of sad the whistling fist wasnt on this list. It wasn't the easiest quest to do but having to go to the plane of fear and do the final turn in with cazik thule made me uncomfortable even as an iksar who worshipped him.

I'd like to open a dialog with you about bards, question 1 would be why do bards so often just stop all their songs when they mez a mob? is /melody not working when they mez? I had a heroic bard but all I did for 10 levels before deleting it was stand still and use /melody
Melody doesn't work well for mez cause all the target swapping you got to do. It's gotta be done manually. You only got 4 songs you can do at a time so you gotta drop some regular buff songs to mez. Pro bards can keep 4 mobs locked down & swap in buff songs when a mez isn't needed.
I would toss out the illusion Iksar quest. The spell always tradeable and most the mobs needed to kill for it are not that high level so likely can easily be done by any good race and sold to enchanters.
Bro, I've sold 20+ of this spell for 1 krono each. Quick money on thornblade when kunark dropped lmao.
