Something that some dont know, when Kunark was originally released and when it was getting closer to a guild finally raiding VP, GM's were scared of people going there, because people were told that if you get stuck in a wall, have a CoH mage, if you die, thats what you have a necromancer for. Was one of the first times i heard of GM's pretty much saying "A bug kills you, fuck you, ask a guildmmate to help you"

Iksars are accepted by the bloodsaber shadowknights under Qeynos, making for at least one good place to adventure antonica from.
I got the Demi Lich Skullcap on one server and if anyone is ever unsure about it ... WORTH IT.
Stacked with the leach line of spells, too. Was charm soloing in Maiden's Eye (tip - use a coterie as a charmed pet, those things are amazing and you can basically get a permanent pet), basically never dropped below 90 unless charm dropped too close to me.
Oh that sounds like a great time. Necro charm is real fun
The plate restriction goes away, but their racial armor bonus does not. Making them perpetually in the conversation for best tank (with ogres). They can also forage and have a swim speed buff.
Easily the greatest race of all time.
Iksars also have a high Swimming skill and can Forage, which is great for tradeskills.
Forage is great for that free food

My iksar shaman is ally with gnomes. Wood elves. High elves. Dwarves. Dark elf and ogre...I haven't checked the others... but the amount of boxed power leveling I do. For my other classes. My iksar is loved almost every place

My rangers still uses it at level 66....he is never stuck anywhere!!
After the AA "Endless Quiver", the bracer isn't really useful. It really isn't all that useful before that, for that matter. You often need high level arrows in order to do the damage you need to do....the bracer's arrows are nothing more than what the mage can summon.

What is your opinion on going bard right off the bat for tlp I presume you will - any big advantages, maybe less people starting bard so more raid gear? Is the auto song playing in the game on Teek or is it old school?
I'm doing bard but it's not great until luclin post honestly. Enchanter is Soooo much more powerful at the same job & can mez better.
Raid gear might even be harder to get on bard cause tanks also need plate desperately. But teek is a loot pinata so it'll be fine. The melody command is in game & bandolier for fast instrument swaps
@@IonBlaze1guess I’ll go for the fun of the journey and not the end destination- bard it is! I’ve never played with melody or weapon swap. Maybe it’ll be easy mode. First time dad now, so I’m a filthy casual.

As a new player should i start on a TLP server?
If you don't know the controls, I would do the tutorial on a free server like Firiona Vie. Then once you got a handle on it, you can get a 1 month sub & try out the newest Teek server. You got like a month left before I think low level grouping will completely dry up

Kunark was an incredible expansion to live through in 2000
But for TLPs I think it’s awful. The raids suck and a lot of the drops suck.
