Legitimately needed this. I've been crying recently over these sad OC animatics that break my heart. Finding this with your awesome little cat people, the aesthetic of both characters in the relationship, I needed this. The fact that I found my favorite song, good animation, and a cool new person to follow makes me think maybe I can smile a little more than I have been.
Oh this was beautiful! Even with no context to the characters or their past you displayed their feelings so clearly on their faces and with their body language that I was immediately invested!

I think that even tho you say that you're a beginner with the animatic/animation stuff, your art is clearly spectacular per se (and also djdjsj from someone who tried and failed so many times trying to do an animatic/animation,,, this video is incredible)
This is gonna sounds stupid- But I had an online friend and we played DnD together. At the end of the campaign, when his character who was a pirate returned to his home to meet again with the girl he loved. After the campaign was over, he left Discord because it was hard on his sleep schedule (he lived about five time zones away from the rest of us). This song, this animatic that he used for his character, it reminds me of him so hard and I cry when I see it. I hope I hear from him again one day because I miss him.

So this is what we call an improvement. You took what was wonderful in the original and gave it a completely different character, one of new love finding itself rather than old love being remembered.
