what axle that Perentie use sir?
Wow. This is amazing, man. I loved it well done
Just love the look of the Landy, super capable too!
Thanks from across the ditch 👍🇳🇿
@5:28 was just plain cheeky! Awesome!
Great climbing from the Tojo and the Perentie.
Great to see the Rangie parked ahead as 'Film Crew Support' :).
terrific video cobber. Cheers to all. Thanks for sharing.
Encore de sacrés passages,
Belle vidéo,
Bravo les gars !
Lovin the set up of the Perentie! Some heaps nice details there.
Appreciate it, try to keep it simple
wish there was a way for the video to show how steep it really is...love the video!
Very hard to get it in pics and vids but this is a steep one.
when they are climbing, look at the dump bag hanging from the Tojo's spare tyre.
The 110 just seems to slither over the rocks.
8 psi does the trick!
out of all the tracks I've done at Lithgow, this one scared me the most, steep ASF
It is a very steep one thats for sure.
I don't know how you guys do this. We walked this 2 days ago, its more like a cliff rather than a track! The spirit level on my phone had the slope at 30 to 35˚
The perentie is a beast. Is that Naturally Aspirated?
Sure is, no powers mods done to the perentie
👍👍👍✊
Sweet as Perentie, it seemed to handle everything easily! Has it had any mods to it's suspension and drive train?
Maxidrive axles front and rear, Ashcroft cvs, maxidrive axle flanges, Ashcroft air locker front, Detroit trutrac rear. 12.5 inch travel front shocks and 13 inch travel rear on flexy coils standard height which is a 2 inch lift over 110's, superior front radius arms have been spaced forward to push diff forward, standard rear trailing arms that have been slightly cranked and braced, cut brackets on diff end trailing arm mount to create clearance
@@pkChummy You bloody legend, thank you! Now I know what to start collecting to change on mine 😁 just got my injectors, fuel pump and fuel system all serviced which cost a few bob coz it needed some loving. Also just chucked on a power steering unit. Think I'll do something very similar for the running gear then save up for a turbo from KLR. Mine was just a general duties jobby from the Sydney auctions.
@@davespanksalot8413 no worries mate, if you want to know anything else just ask me.
@@pkChummy Thanks heaps. Do you have any other performance related mods? I live nearby the Brindabellas so there are some pretty challenging tracks available for me to try depending on how capable I can get my Perentie. Many years ago I gave a lot of them a red hot go in a little Toyota Blizzard which was a lot of fun, but after then I needed something that could do faster than 85kph on the highway and I had normal cars for years.
@@davespanksalot8413 engine wise nothing has been done, soon to have long arms in the rear to counter axle underdrive and rear steer and still running no power steering, car sits on 35/12.5 r16 Maxxis trepadors radials. For my style of driving I have no need for power, I keep try to keep a constant momentum while climbing obstacles which allowed me to bump and role through rock steps
I saw that range rover.
Me too
It went alright considering.
Check out the video of it here: czcams.com/video/g10k-TSDpPE/video.html
What tyres use the LC?
Details are in the video description 👍
