I visited the gardens for the first time when I was in JA in April, it’s so beautiful from the stunning trees to the river just gorgeous. Told my mom about it and she said they use to visit all the time since my dad’s family is from St. Mary . Your content is always great 🥰
Love to see Castleton...... a local hidden gem. These days when I see my local youtubers highlighting the places the locals go to to enjoy and relax I feel a sense of trepidation. I fear external bodies coming in a taking over these places. Some times I say it maybe best for us not to showcase these areas.
You are living your best life in Jamaica. I left when I was 12 years old. Wish I could come back and build a house so my grands can experience Jamaica. My daughter, and granddaughter were in Pathfinders, and my grandson is in Adventurer club

Hey guys a suggestion why not remove that wall between the kitchen and dining room to have a open floor plan making the area more spacious
It’ll cost and the budget is tight. We would want to but to remove and dress the area is off the cards right now. We actually widened it a bit.
The property looks like it's coming along nicely. Great job guys. 👍 I like the detail on the windows, however they do not look like they will be secured from intruders. You might want to think about some window locks or even putting grills on somewhere.

The river you referred to is the Wag Water River which is the source of water for the Hermitage Dam which supplies water to psrts of Kingston and St Andrew. The dam was built by the British during Colonial times.
The overflow from the dam runs along Long Lane by gullies, through Cassava piece to Sandy Gully and finally to the sea.
Before the gullies were built Kingston would flood during heavy rains killing scores of people.

I’m sorry, but the two front doors should swing in and hinges should be on the inside. If someone wanted to brake in, then can simply remove the pins.
Every if not all developments here in Jamaica have houses with doors swinging outward.
