- 2021 Camaro SS 1LE A10 - Catted stainless Power Headers - these were about $1400 less than the previous set of headers I bought for my ZL1 1LE. How were they?
To add, I owned an Orange and a Blue ZL1 1LE which had numerous different modifications done to them. I used some old video clips to help aid in the sound differences so people can get the sound they prefer. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Get the USA made stainless works headers if you want a perfect fit. But, the china Stainless Power option shown in this video is cheaper. Just depends on how much your time is worth.
these were worth every penny! I have always used American Racing Headers in my other camaro's but this time around I went cheap and I do agree quality costs more !
Great video! Did you end up needing to tune after installing?
Thank you ! Zero codes, no tune. I am very happy with how it worked out.
Nice content. I love my sound currently with the corsa axel back. My next mod would be headers. How much louder at IDLE? Does it sound like a diesel lol. how long do you plan on running w.o tune ?
It's a lot louder, no diesel sound. Still no tune and no plans of getting it tuned anytime soon.
@@DemonWorksPerformanceThanks bro. Very informative. I think I will go headers now..
Did you get a cel after..
What is your mid pipe? Is it your stock pipes? How well do the headers clamp to the stock exhaust pipe? Thanks. I've had a disaster of a time with a shop who installed them. They couldn't fit the cats on. 😳
mid pipe is the stock pipe, I had leaks at the clamps and fit was mediocre, so i had to get some welding done to seal up
@@DemonWorksPerformance thanks. Did you ever get it dyno'd after these mods?
Do these headers give that raspy 2-3 seconds sound usually on cold starts like other headers do? How do you think the headers would sound with the corsa?
yes on the raspy, for sure. Very close to a set of headers without cats ... Corsa and these would be obnoxiously loud - I have heard it before and yes, it does sound good but peoples opinions can be different.
Yes. Its a thing with lt1 engines. Any header you put on will make a raspy note - which sucks personally for me. I guess its a thing with direct injected engines. Its even worse on the coyote engines. Ive never heard a raspy hemi engine with headers tho. Thise engines are port injecred only. Maybe it has nothing to do with whether the engine is port or direct injected. It could just be the overall design or air dynamics happening throughout the engine and exhaust piping
I have an unrelated question. How to you clean the underside of the car to keep it so squeaky clean?
Prior owner ran it through the scratch o matic car washes so that's probably why
Do u sometime hear ticking or huffing sounds with your headers next to walls or objects or cars front under your driver seat when decelerating sounds like a leak but isnt? Windows down obviously
yes, header tick is there.
Kind sucks at time makes me paranoid of a leak
Did you get the car tuned? Remote tuned or dyno tuned?
No tune, no ses light on ....
Plan on doing so? Car sounds amazing btw, I got these same headers sitting at home just been lazy to do the install.
