Really enjoying this series. I’m watching “The Revenant” tonight to keep it going. In the movie, I saw a guy grab a bale of furs and thought, “I bet that bale weighs 50 pounds.”
Listening to the intro is really fun, giving a view of how the -sausage- pemmican gets made; with Ash and Christian talking about the tweaks and additions made to the rules.
Honestly, he’s a joy to collaborate with!
I love the fact you created a Canadian campaign. So many expansions you could add to the Canadian version. Nicely done!
I almost feel as if it should be mandatory to play "Northwest Passage" (Stan Rogers) before these games actually start (or the "Log Driver's Waltz", at the very least!)
Every game is a spectacle, and that’s part of why this channel is so special. Great matchup, and I am thoroughly invested in the narrative of these two rival units heading west…

I've been liking the scenarios in this series.
I find it hilarious how portage is being pronounced, because my years of experience with "Canadians pronounce the 'a' weird" was always the opposite direction.
So, fun fact: there's a major street in Winnipeg called "Portage" but it's pronounced differently:
Portage (the verb): "por-tah-j"
Portage (the street): "Port-edge"
It's rather odd, but I suppose English speakers do historically have a knack for butchering words.

Silver bayonet has always looked fun to me. this expansion is great. Whats the likely-hood of an African or Asiatic expasion.

That is what has always seemed weird about this game. The violence between the warbands. It always turns out the bad is worse than the hatred between nations.
Or maybe we are just playing wrong
I like how this played out; with the locals trying to shoot the Wendigo, and the Europeans taking that as a declaration of war.
These miniatures look so good - where did you source these from, if you don't mind?
What size of miniature do you prefer for skirmish wargaming? e.g. 28mm, 32mm, 35mm?

Well you’d need the core rulebook to play the game. The Canada expansion adds this setting

I always thought it would be a good plan for Dr Wiley to make a crappy robot master just like that who would give Mega Man a "power up" of some form of crippling malady.
