The first couple of times they glitched I was confused but after that I found it funny and started to smile. The creators of the Smiler really know their stuff.

I'm glad they still play some of these in the shop. The Smiler Shop wouldn't be as immersive without these videos. It was my first time ever at Alton Towers yesterday and The Smiler is easily my new favourite ride ever! The best way to describe the experience is surreal. XD
I have an idea for adding new merch to this ride. Slippers with feathers inside so when you put them on you start laughing.

I actually really like this idea, we need more unique smiler merch to return. Maybe one for each marmaliser device, tickler slippers, a flasher lamp, an inoculator pen like the SAW syringe one but yellow liquid, a giggler canister mug and some sort of hypnotic spiral for the hypnotiser
How about fake contact lenses with that swirly design?

The funny thing is that it's human instinct to smile whenever you see another person smiling. So this "Smile always " concept works really well! Plus, when someone says "smile" you think of happiness, not a goverment ministry forcefully making people smile 😅
Best theming in the entire park. Even the shop has smiling themes which I find is amazing. Personally, it's not my favourite coaster, but my favourite theming.

My love of We Happy Few goes well with my newfound love for the Smiler. I just love this concept of forcibly making people happy, and calling it something similar to “correction”

I applied to be an Alton Towers Retail Host , They made me watch this for 1 hour on repeat I asked why , They said the employees in the Buy The Smiler Shop had to watch/Listen to it every day , I passed out

Definitely worth a wait, even if it's 3 hours. It's the best roller coaster I've ever been on. The crash was human error.

@@lizdilworth7533 The queue line has flashing lights which could maybe trigger photosensitive epilepsy. Maybe they could use the ride access queue through the lift in the shop, but that's normally exclusive for guests with limited ambulance and you need a ride access pass.
