Perfect Job👌
Nice one lads
Thank you❤
Brilliant
Love your tutorials. Professionally filmed and edited so very easy to follow. Wondering why you don't add torque values for tightening of components.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to clarify the tightening torque, this information can be found in the technical documentation for the repair of your car.

They do...
Thanks.
Great video!! Thank you!! May I ask what's the torque specification for the other control arm? Thank you
80NMs. The road wheel should be placed on the ground before the arm is tightened up.
Agreed but this video was very helpful!
We are glad that this video was useful to you!

How do you know that the lower suspension arm need to changed?
Great video, you make it look simple! Quick question: should you put the wheel on before torqing the bolts? Thanks
Before tightening the lever bolts, you must install the wheel and lower the car to the ground, the bolts must be tightened under load.
@@autodocuk thank you very much for this!
hi, can you tell me why the large bolt is slotted? and if there is a certain way it should be fitted? thank you
They're camber/castor bolts. The placement of the bolts adjusts...you guessed it....the camber & castor.
I don't think they're all fitted with these bolts.
Wish my w203 looked like this underneath
I love this videos, they help me a lot how to repair my MB C 320 4matic, the only thing I don’t like is that in the App you can’t choose EEUU country location. just Europe.😕😕
Thank you for your comment.

Will be required a wheel alignment after this work? Or didn t affect that?
Yes, it is recommended to make an alignment adjustment after this replacement.

Hi there and thanks for the video. What is happening at about 3:50 on the vid. What was "compressing" the suspension? Thanks
The mechanic lowers the hydraulic strut, with the help of which he simulated the working position of the suspension when tightening the chassis.
Hi! Is it mandatory to jack up the suspension when you tighten up the bolts?
It is recommended to tighten the bolts when the car is mounted on wheels, in this case we simulated the working position of the suspension with a hydraulic suspension.
I noticed the inner hole was elongated, assuming for adjustment. Does anyone know how to set this up ? It must affect the camfer
It is recommended that the wheel alignment be adjusted after this replacement.
Is "combination spanner #21" and #22 just 21mm and 22mm?
Yes this is correct.
Hey I have a c230 2008 base model rwd I want to change the exact same part but I can’t find the name of the part so anyone knows from where and what part should I buy plz thank you.
Hi! To answer your question, we need more information about your car. Contact our support team and we will definitely try to help you.
Its easy 😂 if ball joint not broke and nut not ruted and stuck
Why not show How to fix lower control arm bolt because there wheel alignment slot comming? Could you show next video please Any way Thanks auto doc
Thanks for the clarification, we'll think about what we can do with this in new videos.
I've never seen copper grease before, what is that for?
Thank you for your comment!
Copper grease perfectly protects against corrosion and sticking of parts operating at high temperatures, thereby facilitating further dismantling during subsequent replacements.
Best Regards,

Yea doubt any mechanic would actually go this far for us
But it looks like low control arm not front one.
The lower rear arm of the front suspension is shown in the video.
I’ve heard you don’t want to tighten it all the way until it’s back on the ground
He raised the wheel hub which has the same effect.
Why is it that you have to tighten it with the suspension pushed up or with it on the ground
En anglais il dit moins de bêtises
