- It is almost time to get this LS Swap started in the S10! Today we installed the Custom wiring harness from Current Performance Wiring that plug and plays into the S10 with the LS! We also cut the crossmember to fit the oil pan!

If all else fails read 📚 the instructions. A lot of times I look at the pictures but if doesn't have go pictures you will need to read the instructions . Good luck on your build.

Damn Robbie, I now want an S10 (and more garage space for that matter). I got too inspired by your utility trailer renovation video that I bought my own project!
Been thinking about dropping a 4.8L "LS" in my Nissan hardbody. Just a basic build and would love a manual but the automatic is so much cheaper, OEM wiring, ecu, motor with all accessories like ac compressor, power steering with a automatic transmission for $500-$600 and there's a guy locally that can program the ecu and fixing the wiring where it only take one wire to start and stop and still have obdii that works for $300. My old motor has over 350,000 on it and my manual is hard to get in to gears. Thinking LS swap might be better and I'd be able to do highway speeds when it was done with 3x the power too on a basic turn.

For ls engines they sell different angle boots for the spark wires just so you won’t run into having to change them ever so often for them burning up!

Man, I have been watching these videos of the S10 for a while and now I really want to get one. My Dad and I really want to get a Mini truck to learn Manual on as he never owned a manual car
Stock ls manifolds, flip them upside down so they are pointed up and towards the front, throw on some woohaan war whistles and call it a day.
Just a thought I'd check the oil pressure sensor while its easy to get to. When they sit and come back online they sometimes give false readings

Here is your answer for headers for S10 get the Black hart kit from Hooker headers you want there cast Iron headers and want there stearing shaft. The way headers are designed you can get to all your spark plugs it clears starter motor and stearing shaft.
You should had a little power block on the passenger firewall that had studs that the junction wires went to.
The "Throttle Cable" is actually a Transmission Shift Cable from the tree down to the transmission. =)

On rebuild you should do a turbo like gingium did with the ls Volvo.
Turn the headers around pointing up and if your going to make power put turbos on top and maybe you’ll have clearance for your power steering

Robbie, you ever thought about doing hood dump exhausts for the s10?? It might help eliminate the problem with trying to fit the headers
I had this problem with mine just cut the frame more to clear the header

The stock LS oil cap will still fit the valve cover without the neck. Keep up the work man, it the only way to stay sain. 🇨🇦❤

Holley LS oil pan would be easier than cutting cross member. Hooker AC panel has notch four LS coils and valve cover. Hooker motor mounts would locate engine better or buy Hooker headers for S10 LS swap.
You should make exaust with valve (it would be even more sleeper)

What trans do you have? The newer LS bolts up to the old Transmissions you just have to buy a special flywheel

Get the right headers and fold the pinch weld
Dude when you cut into the subframe and take that section out you still got to add steel back to cover the hole and support it you can't just leave it open cuz it's going to develop water in there it's going to create damage so you got to seal it space and primer to cover it up so it doesn't rust again and then paint it so paint the subframe
When did he say that he isnt gonna weld it up? He just said he wont do it with the material he had at home cause it was too thin

They test it on engine master (motortrend) no power lost
Be careful with the I-shaft on that exhaust header. You can cook it and steering will suffer. The upper part wouldn't move because the steering column is locked, turn the key in the column if you need to rotate it.

Robbie, how long does that propane tank last heating your garage? I've got a customer who might want to go that route but I don't know what to tell them as far as how long it lasts before needing to be refilled.
Depends on the tank size, how often you run it, flow rate of your plumbing, and how long you run it
@@lillythepone2994 Right, I mean it's easily calculated with math. I was just wondering as far as his application goes. It's not running 100% of the time so I figured the amount of time he spends in the garage would be comparable to what my customer spends. I've figured that you could roughly get 230 hours of run time with a 40k btu heater and a 100gal tank of propane. So would this be a better option than digging a trench down the backyard for an underground gas pipe... I think so. That's probably why robbie did it.
