The first nipple is the crossover tube for the heads, connects both heads in the front under the intake. The nipples out the rad are for the transmission cooler lines

Robbie, I think you also need a different coolant overflow that has a cap that will hold pressure since that rad doesn't have a pressure cap. Hope that makes sense
The intake air temp sensor is part of the maf, it wont run right without it,you can convert it to speed density in hp tuners and not have to use the maf. You would need to add a iat sensor

I think its running in limp mode. It runs lean and doesnt run when you pull and clear all the codes. Then it runs even leaner... So no start. When it warms up it will run. Check Map sensor if it needs one. Temprature sensor check (coolant and intake) and does it have maf normally? It needs that, otherwise It will always be like this. Without sensors it will always run in limp mode and the current tune for that is a lean mixture. Normally it would run on a rich mixture in limp.
Just to let you know you will need a presser return bottle on coolent . Not a window fluid container. Because wires go to it that goes to computer. Hope this helps a little.

It would help if you attach the MAF sensor (Mass Airfrow Sensor) that gos between the factory air cleaner and the throttle body. The way that you have it right now the PCM (Computer) does not know how much fuel to add to the motor. The MAF sensor monitors the amount of air going into the motor. The computer reads this and then tells the injectors how much fuel the motor needs to run at the correct air/fuel ratio. You can also modify the transmission lines so that you can use the factory battery tray location.
for you who does your own parts such as brackets etc. I suggest you purchasing a 3D-printer, it is easy and cheap to produce parts. And you can print in plenty of materials. From plastic to metal, carbon fiber and nylon, but that is just some examples. Pretty stiff and reliable materials. The computer realy does care about the o2 sensor being cleared. I just did mine on a audi, and it did the same thing. Except I can keep it running until the o2 error comes back up.
Sorry about the buzz kill but tbh I always thought you should get the correct harness one for looks so there not a bunch of looms everywhere but two when you pull the motor to do the rust correction it will be that much easier to pull and reinstall

Mashed potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!! Please use the stock s10 rad for the 4.3 modify the transmission cooler lines to work with the bigger s10 rad. Modify the rad support. So the rad sits inside the support. Current performance has a wright up on how to do that. S10 forum also has some information on that too. The steam vent needs to to a port on the rad. The S10 power steering hoses will work for the 4.8 LS pump to gear.
Mashed potatoes! I love what you’re doing man. If you run speed density off of the iat and map sensor you don’t need a maf, and if you plan on boosting it, it’s better to run speed density anyways.
Hey Robby the dip stick you put in won’t have the oem length so your fluid level won’t be right autos need to have the proper level to work and shift right to much fluid you’ll blow seals out not enough rough shifting and could burn clutch packs out if low enough.
You can't really delete the MAF sensor. When the MAF goes bad or is unplugged the ecu automatically goes into speed density and runs on the map sensor. When you cleared the codes if once again started looking a for MAF which isnt there so it wouldn't run.
That’s why I’ll always keep a small block 400 in my s10 no computers or sensors air fuel spark and she purrs well growls but I like the ls engines but I’m old school

Yes! The bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensors need to be plugged in! You will be reading really lean and it won't run right.
