Here is a video of me putting my Fmf exhaust back on my bike as it was sent away because it was faulty.
I sent the faulty header back and they replaced it with a new header, the FMF headers have a 1 year warranty for cracks and faulty welding.
I have also thrown in my EJK settings below.
Yes the bike was warm before I gave her some berries
The bike sounds the same to me with the spark arrestor in the pipe.
Sometimes I do things a bit ruff or it may seem that I don’t work with care, sometimes you need to just rip in and get the job done and get back out riding.

Why would you delete the o2 sensor? It literally helps the bike run better and easier to tune
@Chris Smith fair call, I remember reading something about unplugging it but can’t remember why, I didn’t delete it I just unplugged it.
I just read the EJK website and there seems to be more information on it now then when I actually installed the kit (1 year ago) I’m not sure if that’s true or not but it looks like they updated it.

Hi, really helpful video. Would you please explain how to fix the exhaust to the white plastic cover?
Hi Ricardo Thöne thanks for watching! So on the stock exhaust the heat shield has the black plastic on it also, you must un screw the Phillips head bolts, and they will separate. You will have the white plastic, and the bracket Fmf provides with the exhaust. Put the bolt that holds the exhaust up in the bracket first so when you put the bracket on you put the bolt thru first and it holds the exhaust up also. After re mounting the alloy bracket Fmf provides with the bolt, there are a couple more bolts that fix it to the Q4. Check out themissendenflyer he did a more detailed install, but I gave you sound comparison and EJK settings, and short exhaust install.
@@youraussiematedean2506 , thanks for the quick answer. Yesterday i realized that the exhaust model I got from amazon is for the CRF 250 L-Rally model but it is the same shown in your video. So the thing is, would it be possible to install in the 250L non-rally? just the way you did in your video?
Ricardo Thöne check the part numbers of the exhaust, and compare the rally and the L model, I’m not sure but that’s what I would be doing. If you brought the Fmf megabomb and Q4 you will be able to install the way I did. Don’t over tight the header bolts from the motor to the header. It also comes with a fitting that you can adapt the Q4 to your stock header.

The bike had Pirelli Scorpion MXMH and yes they where a good tyre. Drop the pressures a bit and your good to go

Agreed, it’s not good to sit on the limiter, and I don’t encourage in the video at all, I was showing everyone how it sounds. The L has a CBR motor.

It’s called the megabomb. Fmf came up with it. Have a look at a new KTM these days, they have something similar from factory
