On my 2000 7.3 PSD using a President George FCC my truck dies when I key the mic. Yes I checked ALL wiring, ground straps, battery connection...etc. Tried different antennas, coaxes....but EVERY time I key the mic the engine dies. Next I tried a STAND ALONE battery. NOT connected to the vehicle in any way...and the truck dies when I key the mic. So its an RF problem. Is it the radio? Is it the truck? Any ideas as to WHAT sensor in the truck? ALL help is appreciated.

Did you try running the radio off a separate deep cycle battery NOT connected to the truck's electrical system?

@@platinumfalconm3891 Not a deep cycle battery, but yes a car lead acid battery separate from the trucks electrical system. From what I can tell its the radios RF that causes it. I just dont know the cure yet.
