Zinus has always been about offering comfort for a value price. The Zinus Cooling Copper Hybrid mattress is no different. For around $400, you can get a high-quality Queen-size hybrid mattress

Appreciate the "adaptive technology" for cooling, looks like a great mattress - good for side sleeper. Wishing it had been more supportive for you on the stomach as my partner is a stomach sleeper. But I like the hybrid! Love the minimal motion transfer :)
I think this would be great for kids and and teens. The price is sure about right for that as well. Even a good option for older folks looking in the budget tier. The weak side support would concern me for seniors.

The price is amazing! I love that it has the cooling and copper plus the memory foam feel. Green tea is good too never heard of it in a mattress. Sounds like great potential!
Its probably just a gimmick but I have to say in theory it makes sense as hot green tea has a cooling effect when drank
Sinus is a great value but I need a firmer mattress. Not sold on the Purple zoned grid. Will head to your website for more info. I prefer high density foam over high quality coils. I would buy the Zinus for the guest room. Thanks for another great review!
Nice to review this for the 10 inch for stomach sleepers since it is more firm. Plus it would be cool if you could get the pressure point data for lighter people.

I would prefer the 12" Zinus Hybrid and like the copper infused memory foam. Good for keeping cool. Since the foam is infused with green tea, does it smell like tea? Great review. Thanks Marten

Green tea infused....sounds delicio...I mean interesting. I like the hybrid aspect with the coils, but wish it had latex rather than foam. I don't need the cooling aspects, but seems like that is a primary focus. Thanks!
As a hot side sleeper The Zinus offers alot and is an affordable option for those on a budget

Nice review. The zinus hybrid looks good for medium support. Those like us with larger builds might need firmer materials. I do appreciate the copper infusion and the green tea. Not common in budget based hybrid technology. Thanks for the information

Awesome review 👍 any chance you know how soft the 10" zinus green tea memory foam mattress is? I'm a combination sleeper (probably from the pain my current mattress causes me) but I share my bed with my 4 year at the moment, she tosses and turns all night also. I like the idea of the copper infusion, but not a huge fan of the coils. Thanks for the information.

I'm not a fan of memory foam and I need good edge support. Love the price point though for zinus. I like a little firmer even though I'm a side sleeper.

Hey Martin I have a similar build as you (6’5” 235lbs), so how would you compare this mattress to the Zinus Cooling Gel Memory Foam Hybrid? They look very similar in construction, just wondering if you had an opinion on which would be better. Also if not one of these mattresses do you have a personal recommendation on an affordable mattress for bigger guys? Thanks!
I love that it’s specifically made for a cooler sleep! But it’s a bit softer than what I need. It seems like a great value for anyone who wants that softer foam feel. I need a more firm mattress with support for my lower back, neck, shoulders and hips. My son likes this one though. Thank you for this review!

Great review, Martin. Zinus is not a bad mattress, but being at 210# I prefer a higher coil count. My granddaughter has this mattress and it is pretty comfortable. The price is AMAZING! The Casper & Nectar are not all that appealing to me.

@@sammifitzs Zinus actually never delivered so I bought a Nectar (I don't know if I'm a fan of memory foam, been sleeping on it for three months now). They claimed they were backed up due to covid-19 and I got refunded. Tbh, I think they prefer customers to order through Amazon so that they don't have to fulfill the 90 night sleep guarantee (everything ordered through Amazon is only returnable up to 30 days).

How long did you wait to let the mattress expand before reviewing?
Looks like zinus has been created with a lot of scientific thoughts. Like their antimicrobial tech, cooling. I wonder how durable will this be given all these modifications. It is always a challenge to make things durable when you are integrating a lot of different technologies. But the softness concerns me as I get back pains.

I bought this mattress when it first came out and I now hate it so much. It does sleep cold but it is way too firm for me. I end up sleeping on the couch instead of the bed now days. Im a stomach sleeper and its like sleeping on concrete. Im 140 and my boyfriend is 200 and we both just hate it.
I guess our experience with it was just different than yours.

Looks like a really good mattress for my kids. As they say moms bed is to firm. Price is GREAT! Besides kids will grow out of mattress in a few years. This looks perfect for them.

i have the 10" version of this mattress. it is like sleeping on a hardwood floor. dont uderstand how 2" of some kind of memory foam can be so hard. aweful
I get ssi on the 29th, I'm gonna get this one.....I just need something to sleep on besides this friggin couch, I have for almost 5 years 😢
I think the CASPER comes out a head of these 3 choices. I prefer the zone support of Casper. And its more on the softer side compared to the others. I think Zinus might be a good choice for a guest bed but not my choice for a full time bed
I'm wondering how they do these open views and cross sections without getting fiberglass everywhere. Do the companies give them versions that specifically are just for reviewing and don't have flame retardants?
It is only those mattress that are delivered in US that has fiber glass but if it will be delivered in other country then it does not contain any fiber glass.
Some versions do not contain fiberglass but you can never be sure which you will get. It depends on the warehouse
What’s all this talk about it being loaded with fiberglass under the cover?

Just bought this on cyber Monday sale almost 50% off. I was desperate for a new mattress especially after my spinal cord injury. I love that you should the pressure points and are very detailed about this mattress. Hopefully worth the hype

Aww you had me until the edge support. I'm often sleeping on the edge do to all the kids in my bed.
Love the price point but considering its not good for people that move around a lot (and hubby totally does) it is not really one I would consider getting. He hates that "feeling" stuck feeling he currently gets in our current mattress. I do love that it has good air flow. Out of these mattresses I think I'd go with Casper (zone support gives it huge brownie points)
If you want to chance having fiberglass cover your entire house. Try it out!
