this gauge is better than I thought it could be and I'm beyond impressed with it !! 10 out of 10 would BEYOND recommend you scoop this up !!
also .. it was recently discovered that Autogeek now sells a similar version of this for a $50 MARKUP .. do NOT buy that .. if you want this gauge PLEASE trust me and ONLY purchase from the link below .. it's $199 dollars instead fo $250 at Autogeek and you'd also be supporting a small business instead of a larger company that's only looking to price gouge it's customer base
Purchase the NexPTG gauge from here

Great content brother. I love that Blue NXT/PTG, I have purchased one , for each of my 9 employees. It is a most definite CYA tool.
Sorry so late, better late than never, stay safe

Late comment… 2 yrs. Looking at the Nex PTG’s. These come with calibration chips of known value. Compare the readings on the known calibration chips - Steel & Aluminum. If the other ones are high on known chips too, then you know the difference is in the other units calibration not being accurate. The Nex PTG units can be calibrated any time with chips.

Great video! Does the Nex PTG measure in millimeters and microns?

Just bought the nexdiag professional and I’m torn on keeping it or using a cheaper one…the low readings have me confused even with my other gauges. As much as I’d say i love the comfort of something being lower if that’s also false it’s overall just not ideal for business.
I’m reaching out to who sent it to me and the supplier themselves. Curious if you have any experience from this video with the blue one? Thanks for the long video I watched it all 😂

How do you change the measurements from microns (um) to millimeters (ml). Thank you in advance 👍

What version is the carbon fibre one bud?

I talk to the company in the nx ptg gauge and they said the acuracy range is +- 7 %. That is crazy. Inaccurate. Range. Most are 2 to 3. Gives reason why it’s allot lower then the other ones

What PTG do you recommend then?

    • @ac7384
      @ac7384 Před měsícem

@@mroqqq7871 none are accurate. Just an idea. Certainly the ones that are +-2 or 3 percent are closer then +-7

the same thing for mine. I compared it with 2 others and always read below, and I checked it with samples of different thicknesses, and it does the same, it is not reliable for me, I am going to return it

Excellent evaluation of the NexPTG Pro. I recently purchased one after using their Standard and Advanced models. The Pro reads slightly lower than the others, but it’s got the moveable head vs flat fixed. A word of caution: when using the Pro, the small pin in the center of the head will lightly scratch soft clear coats like Lexus products. So what makes the carbon fiber worth the price? Carbon housing looks cool, but does it perform better? It looks like the carbon gauge has a flat head instead of the moveable head. If the only difference is the housing, then it’s not worth twice the cost IMO. Keep up the good work, and thanks for posting. Be safe.

I haven't used or experienced that specific gauge so I don't know about the pros or cons. I will look into it but as of now I still use my nexptg without any issues thankfully :)

  • @javiertorresmoreno5923

I can't understand why there is 20-30 um less in nexPTG. I don't like that
