- A Brazil fan wakes from a 21 year coma! The year is 2002 and Brazil have just reached the FIFA World Cup Final against Germany. Thanks to two goals from Ronaldo, or R9 as he's known today, they go on to win the World Cup 2002. Fast forward 21 years and this Brazil fan has woken up from a coma to find his Brasil in a completely different place than before. In this time, they haven't reached a FIFA World Cup Final nor won a World Cup in 21 years. There was also that 7-1 defeat to Germany in the World Cup semi finals at the Brazilian World Cup in 2014.
In this video, a Brazil fan wakes from a 21 year coma and reacts to everything that has happened. This is his reactions...

Im surprised that learning about the 7-1 loss didn't knocked him back into a coma

He got a heart attack instead☠☠💀💀
@@omereraslan798Lol
He lost control 😂
@@nathanconnortv Yep 🤣
Not only about the World Cup drought, but also that no Brazilian player had ever won the Ballondor since Kaka, while Argentina got a 7 time Ballondor winner would be devastating also
That might become 8 this year. Crazy to think one guy winning more Ballon D'ors than a country.
Well tbf to brazil all of em are messi
Well, since Kaka won in 2007, the first player that won it other than Messi and Ronaldo was Modric in 2018…
I'm a Brazil fan and don't see any Brazilians good enough to win the Balon'd or in the near future...they are no longer world class, all of them are just ordinary..they got the skills but not the will..unfortunately, Brazilian players are all too overhyped.
@@AbhishekChaudhary-uq4xoyaa again 4th robbery since he is fifa 🐕 and ballondor given by French under fifa so it's not a big deal

As a Brazilian, I cried with laughter lol. Our current situation may not be the best but it's far from the worst either
Making it to the quarter and semi-finals is far from terrible. My country is so bad at football we can't even qualify in a World or Euro Cup.
Mengoooo
@@FearsomeVoid Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your country can qualify someday. Wish you guys the best of luck :)
At least we don't get knocked out at group stage, or even worse, not qualifying for WC☠️

Sorry dude
me too buddy, me too...
You still got to see Brazil winning the copa america in 2019
@@Darkscenes-jp4geThat's nothing to Brazil's standards, if we don't win the World Cup we are not glad.
@@Darkscenes-jp4ge no one gives a fuck to copa america mate.
Man this video hurts, like a lot, I'm 22 yrs old and the only thing that brazil national team has show to me was pain. I remember the 7-1 like it was yesterday.
i blame tite@@Blazing_Wolf
Eu tive a sorte de poder assistir o Penta quando bem novo, senão iria ser igual
You should’ve left the 7-1 til the last sentence and the Brazilian fan would’ve gone back to his coma 😂
The 7x1 is no more shocking than Argentina being world champion for a Brazilian. In the 2014 World Cup after the 7x1, 90% of Brazilians were rooting for Germany in the final. It's better to take a 7x1 than to see Argentina world champions at Maracanã
Lol Argentina winning is much more heartbreaking than 7-1
Exactly lmao. My Brazilian friend still rooted for Germany in 2014 even after 7-1 @@Username-mn7pc
Honestly I’d say he is lucky he didn’t have to witness the 7-1 live when it happened
That was devastating for Brazil at the time
But Brazil is still 1 world cup ahead of Germany
It still is today, it's kinda of a meme nowadays. When something bad happens he say "Hey look it's another 7-1" or "it's a 7-1 everyday"...
It still hurts sometimes, to make a parallel it was as if the USA national basketball team faced IDK England's bastketball team and lost 112-28... That sort of humiliation
Yeah but at least Brazil didn't get knocked out of the group stage of the past 2 world cups
@@jaffusmaximus to be honest with you
Brazil has disappointed in all of their last 4-5 WC’s
Atleast Germany won a 3rd place in 2006-2010 and won it in 2014

1:00 THAT REACTION😂
As a Brazilian I can confirm this would be my reaction 😂😂
I thought he would go into a coma for another 21yrs after hearing that 7-1 beating 😂!

@@nathanconnortvAy first reply to you Hecka underrated😊
Belgium one was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤, but extremely sad being a Brazil fan.
As a Brazilian I can relate and admire your effort on speaking portuguese.
We are rivals of Argentina, but in the finals we supported them and love to see France lose.
But the 7-1 still hurts. Brazilian soccer culture is not the same after that.
How hard it is to hear your love of France losing. I hope you're not blaming Paris Saint-Germain for having kept Neymar and Marquinhos for this long.
@@tonybaihao4178 nah, they shouldn't go to PSG in the first place. Shame on them. Although Marquinhos plays as expected.
And I'm sorry if this hurts. But we South Americans can't support Europeans ever after all they did to us.
@@phzitos_ I can relate to you, though I think La Seleçao didn’t understand how to play against European teams starting from 2010. And in 2014, to be honest, Neymar, Thiago Silva and possibly David Luiz were far better than the rest of the team. I’m awaiting Brazil in the semifinals to consider them as challengers for the title, and then favourites if they reach the final.
Let’s see what the new generation has in store for 2024 and 2026.
Eu não apoei a Argentina não kkkkk e nunca vou apoiar
@@victordouglaseu não julgo tbm não, pq pra ser racista contra gente eles não pensam duas vezes
Poor guy passing out spared him from learning about Pele... R.I.P.
As Brazilian what hurts me the most in all those years is thinking abiut how much talent we wasted by not taking our best players in 2010, If we did, we would have at least got to the finals 100% sure.
Now we need a Nottingham Forest fan waking up from a 43 year coma
or frosinone from 94 year coma (they won serie a in 1929)
Totenham fans be like 💀💀 so how much years of coma then

That is not the first time Brazil has over 20 years without winning a World Cup, that also happened in 1970-1994, and before that, it took 28 years to win a World Cup in 1958. National squads are usually made successful or unsuccessful by the generation. Pelé generation was amazing, then, Romario and Ronaldo generation was also amazing.
Past two Brazilian generations were quite weak compared to the dominating World Cup winners generation.
I hope the next generation though will improve a bit(Vinny Junior, Rodrigo). But I don't see players like Ronaldo, Romario, pelé yet on the current Brazilian squad, so it is hard for me to say Brazil can win the World Cup in 2026.
vinny jkkkkkkkk
Argentina won without superstars (who were willing to work hard) and an old Messi... surely Brazil can as well, hopefully Ancelotti brings the hard work and fight in these players to win it in 2026
@@redbullsalz well, Messi is still Messi even if he is old, but yes, football is not about the players, it is about the team, and they might not have had the best players overall but they did have the best team. The same can happen to Brazil 2026, who knows... lets hope for the best.
The best Neymar was better than current vinicius and Rodrygo combined. And the mediocre neymar has more talent than them.
@@redbullsalz Argentina was lucky to get through more than one penalty shootout that rarely happens... And they will never win this Cup without Messi
1:23 gave me goosebumps
You did it, Nathan never disappoint!
this one really hurt, I get even sadder when I remember that I was born when Brazil won the world cup, and since then my country has never been champion again😶
@@Blazing_Wolf even though I'm Brazilian I can't deny messi is the goat, but i dont think hes deserve the 8 ballon d'or, Halland this season winned everything
@@gabrielmachado9300 I don't think Brazil will ever win the world cup again but you still got to see Brazil winning copa america's
@@Darkscenes-jp4geBrazil is not England, a single-title team with no tradition in the World Cup. It's been in a 21 year drought, but stayed 24 years from 1970-1994. Argentina had not won the World Cup since 1986 and won in 2022. Saying that Brazil will never win again with all due respect is stupid. It's like saying that Germany will never win the World Cup again because in two editions it failed in the group stage or Italy will never win again because it's 2 World Cups without even qualifying. Brazil has 5 trophies, Germany 4, Italy 4, they are the Holy Trinity of the World Cup even in a bad phase there is no such thing as "they will never win again". Brazil, in addition to being the record holder of titles, is the record holder of victories, record holder of the most goals scored and not to mention that it is the only one to play in all the world cups and now that the number of participants in the World Cup has increased, generating more vacancies for South America South is where this record will be kept until the end of time, there are 10 teams in the South American qualifiers, 6 qualify directly for the World Cup and 1 for the repechage. Brazil to be in position 8 in a South American qualifier and not go to the World Cup is literally impossible. Italy won in 2006 after the last time was in 1982, 24 years. Germany when it won in 2014 the last time had been in 1990, 24 years. Argentina 1986-2022, 38 years. France 1998-2018, 20 years. To say that Brazil, which won the last one in 2002, will never win again is very stupid, it will complete 24 years as Germany and Italy in their times
@@williamthierry5976 Italy did win Euro 2020 tho the Euro's are harder to win than the world cup France hasn't won the euro's since 2000 and Germany hasn't won it since 1996

Try explaining to a Brazilian that since 2002 a tournament which saw Romario left behind because of the striking options they had their best striker has been Fabiano and that Fred actually was the first choice striker.

As a Brazilian, it is expected, Neymar has been practically playing alone for Brazil for 12 years, the only good players at his level were defenders (Marcelo, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, etc.)
If a brazil fan waked up from coma and seen what current brazil is doing then he would've gone to coma again

Here we all agree that the 7-1 was Brazil's most humiliating match, but what hurt the most was the elimination against Croatia, there were only 4 minutes left for us to win the game... and because of a silly mistake that It cost us dearly.
It's shame on allison bro didn't even save one penalty shot while Croatian goalie was a beast penalties are hard but look at his standard world football recognize him as one of the best goalkeeper and still can't save not a single shot shame on him

The brazilian national team quality went downhill after that 2002 wc, tbh. There's a point, maybe in 2008-2010 where i dont know and i've never heard half of the squad.
