Sound check guitar playthroughs should be more of a thing!!! Loved this 💙
Agreed.
@@heavyweight6440 cody's gonna kick ur ass at night of champions
Agreed, as well as the band's playtrough like Periphery does.
@@nikhilshakya51 nah, Lesnar chokes him out like he did with Shane Carwin. Lol, i dont watch WWE.
It probably will...
Time for some screaming and some singing
and then some more singing and screaming
did she say that every venue because she said that at the Houst of Blue Houston 😂
@@karoshn I think so, the script is probably the same for all of the concerts. My fav part was, "the ass-shaking part of the concert has now begun" 😂
Courtney LaPlante did it!!
@@ToMeTheFool that too 😭 was not expecting that at all. she was killing it though
He is da stringer
his right hand technique is so fucking crisp. no unnecessary movements. just efficiency. its a thing of beauty.
So when Mike's right hand technique is on point, everyone praises him and throws money at him, but when I do it it's "public masturbation" and "inappropriate for a funeral." We truly live in a society
@@livecarsonreaction Bro what LMAO
@@livecarsonreactionit's how you use that right and with what 😂.
@@livecarsonreactionThis needs to be engraved on something. I need this to outlive us all.
I disagree
I think it's bizare how precise he is while downpicking so much, watch his jaded playthrough
I think he picks like a nano-precise steam machine while still being somewhat non-efficient with how far he lets his hand go
dont get me wrong, I think it adds to his playing persona and I love it
I’d love to see zev do a drum play through on this song
Such a catchy beat!
It's on his Instagram now !
I got to see the soundcheck in Toronto and I'm not kidding when I say he's the tightest guitar player I've ever seen. It was so sick to see him play up close
Facts. He's super tight.
Toooiight
The drumming goes especially hard in this track
the riff lord
Ethereal asf and i love it, I will always love Courtney's voice but there's a special place in my heart that loves the instrumentals. I wish there could be an instrumental release for spiritbox songs. Or they could pull a Periphery and sell the producer packs 👀
I have all the instrumentals they released on Patreon, plus demos from the Self Titled. They're so cool!
Stem packs from these guys would be such a blessing
@@Ordacleaphobia I mean they have them on their patreon lol.
@@hrothgarnogar I had no idea! Thanks for letting me know!
That's how I feel about Canto 34 by Five Finger Death Punch but I just discovered these guys today & WOWWW! I was starting to get reallyyy fucking sad thinking about how Hard Rock & Metal (even soft rock in general) has been fazed out over the last 10 yrs or so and never hear any bad ass new bands on the radio (unless its satellite) but how are the next generations gonna discover any of this if the radio stations are playing shmut garbage like WAAP & other bullshit that's contributing to the degradation of society & turning all these kids into a protest army comprised of LibTards...These guys are real good tho. Still my place in music will always remain with Detones, Perfect Circle, Chevelle, NIN, Avenged Sevenfold, In This Moment, Metallica 🤟👌
Ok mike did great but dayum that camera work and video clarity. Who ever shot this did an amazing job. its just so clear and clean
Mike is one of the top and best metalcore guitar players out there. Been fortunate to see him play live 4 times already
Mike's riffs resonate with me like no other. You are incredible man. True inspiration
Even the instrumentals for this band are next level.
The Void reminds me of anime opening songs and I love it!🖤
Fucking awesome video, so glad you guys are finding as much success you are! Love always!
This is dope. Jacket is fire too.
That's unbelievable! Besides all the great music, all your visual production are always flawless ❤️
So many nuances i never picked up on.
Instrumental track releases are so dang cool just for this reason. But even down to each individual isolated track you can notice even more subtleties..
Love this playthrough format. We can see exactly which part Mike plays. Also, that jacket is sick tho!
In mike we trust
Just casually plays it perfectly during sound check.
Great to see him growing out the hair too. He pulls it off well. Better for headbanging too of course.
The ad-lib at the end section though. 👌🏾
Thank you for this, Michael. My daughter avery was the one that made you and Courtney the pic in St. Pete. We were at the Hob orlando show, and it's was amazing. Next time, vip .
Pretty sure I saw you guys at jannus and thought to myself "awesome, they brought their daughter to a metal show" 🤘.
@@Hamsandwich228 😆 that's rad, thank you !
We need more of these , so sick
3:08 the start of ear heaven
Excellent as always Mike! Can’t wait to see you guys live again. Would love to see more Sheet Happens books! ❤❤
Everything you all do is amazing. Cant wait for more
I would love more of these!!
You guys are amazing.

More of these please! ❤
Awesome tones and playing, as always)
this is soooo unbelievably sick. Love seeing these
Cool. very nice performance thanks❤
such a banger !! cant get enough 💯💥💣
Nice! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing 😍
Awesome
i love these
Mike is so clean! Love it 😮
Fantastic work. The track is incredible even without vocals. This would stand strong as an instrumental metal track all on its own
The jacket tho! Great tunes guys, looking forward to seeing yal on tour 🤘
I love this style of music
This song is so good !
SICK🤘🤘🤘
Phenomenal.
Mike's style is unique - a flowing, intricate ride, filled with twists and turns......never wanting it to end......
THANK YOU. I love that official guitar playthroughs are a thing!
Sounds great !
Oh that's incredible 🥰
SWEET Jackson!
This is a work of art.
This has been stuck in my head all day, so fuck yeah on a playthrough~
He makes it look so easy. Just an awesome guitarist.
So sick man! Great groove Mike!
The way you build your songs is so smart
Spiritbox it's awesome, sensational, 👍🎵🎼🤘🤘👊👊🤩🤩🎸🎸🎸🇨🇦🇨🇦✌️
So sick
This is a masterpiece!
Guitar flow AND Hair flow 😎
getting the live drums with a guitar playthrough just sounds so mega
❤ I can't wait to watch the concert this Monday in dublin....❤
Awesome show here in Orlando, FL! Come back soon! 👍
❤
Dope video! 🤘
wow
This helps me appreciate the song more. It's still not my favorite sound for this band. The early stuff was just more complex and creative sounding to me. Mike's riffs in songs like Belcarra and The Mara Effect are so interesting.
Hate to be that guy but I’m just so beyond bored and sick of every creative and heavy band going soft af.
@@arsonne Don't care, if it sounds good, it sounds good, fans will stay for the band either way. You're starting to sound more like a gatekeeper.
"Hate to be that guy" You already are that guy.
@@arsonne people who like dork music don't buy tickets
@@TheBrianna4555 That's....that's very true. The simpler something is (I mean, look at Radio Pop), the more accessible it is, therefore more people will buy tickets.
Whenever I see comments like the first two in this thread I'm wondering if people actually process music the same way I do. Every album/collection of songs has been different from one another. 10:16 and most of The Mara Effect is on the softer side and at times less complex than other songs in their discography. Secret Garden, Silk In The Strings, Rule of Nines immediately come to mind. It's all about balance and nothing is ever black & white. With Spiritbox expect the unexpected. Mike's work since Fall In Archaea is awesome and there's a purpose to each song that he composes. I'm glad I've been able to connect with each one for different reasons. If more people had access to the official instrumental versions, they would realize that there's a lot of soul and intention within them. Technical or not. That's how I see it.
🎸🤘
Nice! Mike's got those Fishmans in his Jackson now! Sounds INCREDIBLE as always!
I cant even wrap my head around how fucking amazing Spiritbox is. Its insane.
AMAZING... this is what i won.... the NEO MODERN Guitarist.... good job
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Let's goooo
Evertune bridge all the way. Amazing how well it keeps everything in tune!
muito bom ! acho muito bacana como Mike consegue construir riffs memoráveis
that’s sick fam
Ufff 🤯 heavy tones
🤘🤘🤘
Certified head banger 🤟
One if the best modern bands, especially modern canadian bands. Got to see you guys with Lamb of God and Killswitch, it was amazing!
♥♥♥♥
🤘🏻🤘🏻
🤘🏼🤘🏼fuck yes 🖤
Good guitar player, amazing drummer.
One of the best modern metal guitarists ever (of the famous ones). Those clean parts in the verses. Those pickups make the sound a chefs kiss.
👍👍👍
i want to play guitar one day like this
The Eternal Blue Tour was awesome and really enjoyed this song.
I want them to write a song every day my life would be perfect
👍👍👍👍
Need Zev to do a drum playthough that dude is talented as hell.
It's sick for sure!
Stringer is the best name for a guitarist possible
He is a genius
Let's dance! 🦸🏻
Thanks god
This is so sick wtf
Ridiculously talented. If I could play 1/8 as good as that man I swear! Lol. You sir are a bad man!
The riff zaddy
Looking back on this some of the guitar work Mike does reminds me of Tesseract with the fingerstyle stuff!
