For Maestro, if the cam height doesn't need to be exact and it's just a general view cam, you want to look up while placing it so it can be as high as possible. This is mainly to avoid melees, as you can just look up. It also allows you to place them more open instead of directly against a wall. Also counters EMP's if you predict them or if you react to Thatcher's EMP as they usually can't get an elevated enough surface to shoot the inside of the cam.
0:01 I still feel like that’s unnecessary. The Kona station cooldown is 15 seconds and the last time I saw a player taking your advice he lost because he wasn’t defending. The guy who played Thunderbird was the last defender alive during post plant and as he resets the Kona station I got a free Kali snipe.

Shorts title: “Thunderbird Cringe” The Thunderbird player decided to reset the Kona station in hopes of beating a 1 vs 3 scenario but it backfired. It’s ironic that I still get trash talked for choosing to play as a sniper support when players like that Thunderbird exist.
@@chalexen2862 what I meant in that last part, was, you do the thing at the start of the game when it's still a 5v5 or 4v5, so you get the benefit out of the trick. You could even friendly fire each other to trigger the kona without engaging the enemies, and activating the trick even sooner
