as a celtics fan, yes in regular season. playoff have been subpar. partly i think joe wants jt and jb to take over oh well. also they are missing kp who is the great facilitator
I think first three and a half quarters or so it’s beautiful basketball and then when everyone gets tired it does turn into iso ball a bit
Chuck doesn’t watch the games. Celtics ball movement has been amazing all year. Past few games it hasn’t been great but it’s consistently been excellent all year. Bostons the best offensive team in the league ..also Tatum and brown play more than “adequate “ defense 💀💀💀..these dudes don’t watch..I’d love to have their job..analyze sports and actually watch the games and know how players “play”.
@@junjun2034agreed this team is just naturally playing slower because it’s the playoffs and there’s more intensity. Our quickness and ball movement was quality in the RS, now it’s decent but reasonably so.
Sometimes it is, and then sometimes in the 4th quarter Tatum ball hogs and takes horrendous shots.
Tatum moves the ball and gets the team involved and they say he’s not doing enough and can’t keep winning like that. Tatum goes for 33 and now the offense is bogged down and stagnate. Death, taxes and people hating on the Celtics.
He needs to be more efficient. He's shooting like 40% .
Exactly Game 1 Tatum was more playmaker than scorer D White, JB, and the others ate yet the same media ppl said JT isn't that guy or he needs to score more now that he is now the ball doesn't move Lol make up yall damn minds!!
Love the Cs and JT, but sacrificing JBs mins and shots to get JT going is what I don’t like. JT hasn’t been scoring well but when he’s assisting, everybody is better. JT needed to put up almost twice as many shots as JB just get have 6 more points than him (33 and 27). We win when we let JB cook FIRST without JT. JT is our finisher tho no doubt.
Last thing, and if you’ve been watching all year, there’s a pattern. JB is hot in the first quarter, will give a sizable lead when JT is on the bench, then JT comes in and finishes. Only difference now is that we’ve lowered bench rotation and the two jays gotta be on the floor together most of the time.
@@bbdj3 I’ve missed 4 games this season and ur right that’s definitely been the formula. That said jb got in early foul trouble this game so it wasn’t exactly sacrifice, more out of necessity. Jt could be more efficient for sure but him at 45% like he was this game leads to wins for the Cs
The Celtics honestly just can’t win whatever they do. Tatum is a point forward and gets 7+ assists? Tatum needs to score more. Tatum gets 33 points? Tatum makes the offense stagnant. It’s honestly ridiculous

@@WettoLoL genuine question, did you watch the game? Because if you did you could see the cavs gaurds couldn’t keep up on defense everytime we drove to the hoop leading them to foul. Also the cavs shot 50 3 pointers that game. Harder to get foul calls from behind the arc

Best performing team in the playoffs so far just after finishing a historically dominant regular season and YET these clowns have nothing good to say about the Celtics and their coach. They are clearly fans of flashy, empty calorie basketball and not fans of actual winning basketball.
Look at the competition they’ve faced dude. They should be WIPING THE FLOOR with this Cavs team, not eeking out a win when they don’t even have their best player.

The Celtics move the ball around more than most teams in the nba so I’m not sure what Barkley is talking about. This is probably our lowest assist mark in the playoffs so far. I Will admit that during the clutch there needs to be less iso. But outside of the clutch. The Celtics have pretty fluid ball movement.
Not off any action though, usually just mindless drive and kick opportunities. No off ball screens or actions they can run consistently, not a fan of the Mazulla school of drive & kick and chuck three offense. Our assist numbers are testament to the skill levels of Tatum, Brown, White, etc...

Agreed, the iso in the 4th really infuriates me but I can recall at least 3 times Al horford was given an excellent pass for a wide open three and missed. Celtics had a decent amount of good shots out of assist that just didn’t go in.
It's so annoying to watch dudes who clearly only follow narratives. Celtics & Denver are the most accomplished teams left in thier respective conferences. You had people writing them off and Boston apparently have to sweep every series whike winning every game by 20 points 😂

In order for an assist to count the shot attempt needs to be made. The C's created so many shots that just didn't go down. Al missed a ton of shots that were wide open the assist numbers look different if they do.
They score more off passes (assists) than any team in the leauge. These clowns need to be replaced with analyst's that actually watch the games

This team is very weird without porzingis. Porzingis is that option in the middle that opens up the rest of the team. Makes them much more consistent when they get easy baskets in the paint when the play breaks down
Tonight's Episode might be the worst this last decade , there's no energy, Shaq is exhausted you can see it , his voice volume decreased more for some reason , Chuck is getting sensitive , Kenny and Draymond have calm takes but they tryna sound complicated at some points (Its like they're competing from each other on who has the "smartest" take to look smart , because their takes takes a lot of setup to prove their point , they're not saying it directly), Ernie is still ernie though but he had a hard time tonight trying to talk to ShaQ and Chuck because of their ego and pride about their picks on Mavs and OKC, the Wolves "Sweep" incident , the Jokic - Shai Incident Etc..
Shaq's still snuggling mentally with the reality of Jokic having three MVPs. He's not sleeping much now and it's taking its toll

The coach is not out there playing... he is not making/missing any shots. Now if you are saying he has the wrong guys on the floor, or sucky ATO plays, or time out management- that is something different. But Browns to's and Tatum missing shots is not on the coach.
@@iloveit7301 i have major issues with ato, sub rotations, and end of game execution. I do agree tatum and especially brown are responsible. But who is putting luke kornet out there to get torched and make things harder for tatum by making the floor smaller and forcing him to be primary rebounder because kornet couldn’t box out my 78 year old mother. He has options! Tillman has proven he can perform at playoff speed. Mazulla did the same thing last year in that fiasco that ended with losing to a bad heat team.
Celtics apparently will only get credit if they beat all teams by 30+ every night, the entire team needs to shoot 100% from the field and beyond the arc and they must sweep every series

Took out the reigning champ bucks. I know Middleton was injured but still. Took out the heat who made 2 of the last 4 finals and 3 of the last 4 ecf. That’s not an easy path by any means.
