Its a intresting chanalge, there are so many diffrent part of the run. The normal speed run is just build build build. This have much more variation, at least its more enjojable to watch... If its enjojable to play... yea that is a other question, i just barley manage to launch the rocket in 8 hours when i tried it.
I just finished watching you first run under 5h. Took me 3 days! You are making new record runs faster than I can watch them! I would love to see a 'making off' or behind the scenes video. How do you design the base blue prints and its concession thru the game? What is rhe thought process? How many people are involved? Do you train the execution? So much preparation goes into this!
Nefrums, how did you get the crosshair pointer you had a year ago? The last single player run you did (1:27:28 former WR), you had a crosshair cursor. Was that a mod or something, or a streaming thingy?
I love watching your speedruns. I've got over 80 hours on the game and I'm trying to improve my organizational skills. Any chance you would entertain doing a slower video (not necessarily finishing the game) just demonstrating some of your organizational strategies so that we could learn some tips from you? I find that if I turn away for just a moment, I have to backup the video just to figure out how you got where you are. Much appreciated!
Nefrums did an any% guide a few years ago demonstrating a few builds that are fast to build and should get someone finished in ~3hrs. If you're after 100% id recommend the base building vods on nefrums' twitch. It's a shame that the most interesting part of the base doesn't get that much screen time in the run
Really nice run! The times are starting to get really low on 100%! I have one maybe stupid question, why not build the next set of nuclear reactors and fuel them ahead of the rest of that part of the power build? I think I can guess the answer, all the heat pipes and exchangers would cause the average to fall so low it doesn't matter? Perhaps some middle ground of some heat pipes ahead of time?
Including the map selection in the time is weird since you could just keep resetting the run and trying the first map till you get a good one. Time loss is getting significant
i think its not map selection but map modification, so stuff like tree coverage, density etc. on a map seed that already looks really good. you could technically keep rolling new maps, if you want to look for a "perfect" map for a couple hours/days.
Actually, if you take the name "AntiElitz", remove some letters, add a few ones and then shuffle them you get the name "Geton Malevl". No clue who that guy is.
Placing blueprints is 100x faster than making them every time you play. What do you expect? A category with specific rules to make the runs go on for longer?
yes that is correct. placing blueprints and achieving 100% in the shortest time (aka. a speedrun). how about trying the green circuits achievement in under 6 hours yourself :)
Of course using blueprints is a core part of the game. It's just watching the first speedrun is interesting, but then all the following speedruns look the same. I'd love to see a speedrun without premade blueprints
@@Archont4000 the closest to that would be default settings any%. or maybe dearhworld. altough the (best optimized) main base is still built the same, just from memory, the settings/map provide the max amount of variety to have to improvise.
