Today in this video, I am going to discuss about Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Domestic violence affects women from every social background irrespective of their age, religion, caste, or class. It is a violent crime that not only affects a person and her children but also has wider implications for society. To minimize the cumbersome position of law, be it procedural or substantive, the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 was enacted to protect the women from acts of domestic violence.

Ma'am today in my village a woman was killed by her husband when he was drunk.family was not aware about the law nd family found her dead body in the room.he husband nd in laws were not present on the spot so as a human what can i do for that woman....how can the maximum punishment be given to the family(boy nd his family) ?😢😢

We are sorry to hear about such a tragic and heartbreaking situations.
Here are few things which you can do from your end.
1) Support to the victim's family (Emotionally or in any way ).
2) legal Assistance: Help them on how to navigate the legal system and what options are available to them.
3) Advocatefor legal Action: Encourge the victim's family to report the crime to the authorities and cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation.
