- The 2021 Auburn University Marching Band's Military Appreciation Halftime Show, Honoring America, recorded by drone at our practice field. Since the two games we performed this show at were not dark enough for the full effect of the LED lights that our student engineers worked so hard to create, we put this video together to showcase their hard work. Audio was taken from the same halftime show, recorded at the Iron Bowl against Alabama.

What an outstanding performance. Coming from a member of Bama’s Million Dollar Band, all of the AU band members deserve a standing ovation for that show. It was truly remarkable. The lights were astounding and the pictures that were painted just blew me away. I will say this once in my life, but to the band, Go Tigers!

Outstanding. This is one of the best AUMB shows I've seen. We did a very similar show my freshman year in 1995. At the Iron Bowl that year we had fireworks at the end of the show, and the *other* band had an almost identical patriotic show. It's one of my favorite band memories that we blew them off our field that night, as I'm sure we did Saturday. Well done, everybody!

how do they even do this with lights
Some of the band members who are in Electrical Engineering set up rings of LED strips that went around our helmets. Not sure how they programmed the light sequences though, but they were geniuses.
