I genuinely thank you for sharing your practical experience in the freelance market. This video brought me a better practical understanding much better than any other content on CZcams!!!
Thats nice, thank you!
Are you a fullstack dev?
@@looydyep
And congrats men, Im still looking for freelancing job
@@looyd What's your Instagram ID?
I am,
Can i mail you my situation ill write it clearly so you won't hv to reply twice.
Or any other way i can explain my situation.
I really need someones perspective. And badly want to start freelancing.

This is one of the actually realistic and practical video i have seen so far. Great work.
Thank you!
I try to be very honest
You did good 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽@@looyd
This is great. It's very REALISTIC and SPECIFIC. Most success videos leave out the grind, leave out the fact they have some 4 year background in a similar field, their personal story is 10 years old and no longer relevant to today's environment, and nobody EVER actually shows what they did for their projects/portfolio. Well done. Very helpful.
I've been trying to use upwork for the last 3 weeks. After sending like 15 proposals and being ignored 14/15 times ( i applied for react and mern projects ) I can feel what you have been through. 2 days ago I just started a small ThreeJs project randomly and now this video appears on my yt home. I will make it happen, thank you for the inspiration!❤
i think the advices in this video are the most precise/valuable advices on the topic i've ever heard
Actually I was in my Day 1 of Freelance, I was going to do the same fault you did, But you opened my eyes in such an early period, I actually need to change my plan and do some market research and find appropreate neiches before delving in the development phase and wasting time; thank you for sharing your experience with us, wish you the Best!
i think this might be the most relatable coding channel i have seen in a while thank you so much, i am motivated to start trying again. thank you,
Thank you for sharing your journey, my best wishes for the next projects! 🎉
Damn, bro! I remember your very first video where you were learning React, and now you've finally got your very first gig. I'm happy for you, my G. Congratulations! 🥳🥳✨✨
Your a og, thank you
everything happens for a reason !!
@@looyd Keep it up. We are proud of you. I am also on my coding journey right now.
Cheers from a fellow CZcamsr~~

I'm currently in a similar situation right now. Thanks for opening my eyes to the things that I'm doing wrong.
Good job man ! Very inspiring ! 💪🔥
Well done, bro! 👍 A lot of people share written scripts, not their experiences. I had a similar experience too.
Thank You for the insight Sir!
I will be back when I get my first contract .
I still remember you starting going with firebase and here we are, Congrats
Wow, Thanks for this insightful tips!

I like the optimism and persistence.
I’m trying this! I really wanted to get into freelancing as a side hustle to make more money along my full time dev position. I’ll start after my current sprint at work and see if I can do this freelance thing in 3 months! Thank you for the motivation and the time you’ve put in.
Just find a good niech and you got it
Very realistic . Thank you for sharing your experience.
Great video man!
Thanks for this. Niche is key!
You are such a geek.. but man! this is actually the most useful information i've found on the internet so far.
Very good video mate💪🏻
Great video I am too a beginner learning full stack currently
This gives me motivation to do more and more things
You got this!
Extremely helpful video now i know one thing is that go into some niche.
love you bro you are a hustler!! I actually also from berlin GE
Super fun video!
Congrats man! And thank you so much for the niche search tip. I just might try it.
I've been working as a Data Analyst for 5 years and have been interviewing around for jobs that pay better. I've been interviewed so many times but no offers. It sucks to get ghosted.
I've been looking at a career change to maybe a developer and doing some freelance stuff to get experience. Your advice helps. Thank you.
Why don't you apply what this guy did, but in your current field? Grass always looks greener on the other side. You just need to get better at selling yourself in a niche within your current field!
😂 what's funny is that I'm thinking of going into the data analyst part from web dev. Grass really does look greener fromthe other side. Just get better in your current field bro maybe ai/ml stuff.
@@yourhydraulicpressbroskill issue for sure. Know data analysts writing algos at Jane street for 600 bags
Das video ist sehr gut! Vielen Danke fur die Tipps! (still learning german) i genuinely thought you would have 100k subs :) Keep going

Thank you for that video bro.
Not bad, congrats!
It will come together. I had website for 10 years that didnt make any money then suddenly it made me more a month then most people get in a year from a job. Just need a lucky break sometimes.
What's your website?

damn, it s the real hustling and grinding my dude, if it would had been me i would have given up in 2 months only!
Well.. I gave up aswell
I just decided to try again.. gave up and then tried again :D
i like this i hope i find job by 2024
u got this chief, just keep on coding
This was really motivating for me 😢
Just subscribed hope you well bro i was starting to learn three js and ux xr thanks for the tip
checkout readydeveloper on my github, all the code is there and you can see how I did it with three.js
Hi! I'm not pretty confident with my skills as a developer, but Your video has encouraged me!:) God bless
dudeeee ur sheer amount of resilience and dedication to the work is insanee, mad props to u
We need more of this.
What u wana see?
Those figures are great, focus on that, alow mor customizations. Write proposals for companies or whatever around christmas so they just buy 10 and some acess codes to edit their figurines. maybe add a decal editor so the figure can have shirts with logos.
That is a good idea!
The code is free and open on my github go give it a try!
There is definitely some potential there.
Great job!
Thank you!
Awesome!
this is a great vide, congrats
Having a structured follow up system, converts fleeing yes' to staying yes'. in some cases it improves sales to like 70%. dat shit no joke
thanks broo
thanks for sharing your story bro, I really appreciate your honesty towards everything and not fluffing it up to sound professional.
ps: i knew you were German immediately from the way you used your fingers to depict "3". i love you guys. thanks again for making this video.
great video man
thanks chief
thanks, I was just wondering if I should go freelancing route, this was pretty honest.
What did you decide?
I feel like I was meant to see this video....or the algorithms are just that good. Lol I got on upwork and did a nich search and found the same thing. Job positngs only getting a couple of applications here and there. I think I'm gonna give this a shot. Thank you so much for sharing!
in freelancer, there is a lot of people that needs automation projects using python, and there is not a lot of people that wants to freelancer them, its a good way to start freelancing in freelancer.
Awesome video
I live in Ukraine, and I have developer experience but I am unemployed at the moment
This video is really inspiring. Thank you very much!
Wow thank you so much bro ❤
Thank you.
The most realistic video I have seen so far
men that website is amazing ! good work now i also want do do three js....
Give it a try, its not as hard to be honest
Thanks for giving me this idea. Been a backend dev for several years now and wanted to give freelancing a try but I don't think I stand a chance in the freelancing market because it's full of really good developers or really cheap ones.
What kind of backend dev? But yea backend stuff is hard for freelancing I think, more of a full time job
@@looyd web dev. Mostly API and process automation. I'm starting to give reactjs another try. Hoping to be fullstack soon. I'm not good in design that's why I stick with backend for a long time.
Weirdly enough that’s very similar to how the primeagian got his job at Netflix. He specialized in a framework that wasn’t very well known or the meta.
I mean it all makes sense... 3rd try, 3 months to learn, 3 js... its the 3
u on to smth
awesome video, hope you make lots of money
im gonna try nichieing down and see how to goes, maybe make a video about it if it works
Great video, talented creator!
Btw did I understand correctly from your description on UpWork that you are a veteran??
No,
I am not a Veteran.
Thanks so much for sharing such a detailed history of how you got into the freelancing world.
Trust me bro,
This is just not only applicable in freelancing, such a general purpose experience you have shared!
Lesson is keep up the try and improve your strategy if it doesn't work for you.

Your hard work is getting paid
Looks very much like my journey. But yeah I’m building up my portfolio to hit upwork again. I’m sorta focused on a niche now might not be as specific as yours but yeah I’m focused on using strapi CMS and react js to make web apps for small to medium sized businesses.
Strapi is a good niech, but you have to go deeper than react.js in my opinion
@@looyd you mean next js?
My grammar teacher virtually nagging me to correct you by saying it's niche not niech. I appreciate the video cause I've been struggling to get a freelance job on upwork too.
Yea, sry about that. English is not my first language. Good luck on your freelance journey!
@@looyd I understand
I love the video and thanks for the motivation. Keep at it and I wish you all the best.
Hey, really good video! Good job on following your dreams 🚀 Can you please provide some details how you learn Three.js? Did you go through some courses or plain documentation?
Hey!
I might make a second channel where I talk about more stuff but basically I mostly learned it by doing the readydeveloper project.
@@looyd Thank you so much for response ❤
