Just gonna give my 2 cents, I’ve been quietly redoing my lighting setup at my school, I’m a student and I’ve been using a RasPi with OLA running a private Wi-Fi just to do wireless for programming my scenes. But for actually doing a show I will plug myself straight into my lighting rig over USB, I don’t trust my Wi-Fis stability for a real show.

Fun. I'm looking into wireless access from a remote to my school's console, but that would mean procuring an antenna / router. I am also a student.

Any. TP Link, Netgear, Cisco, Ubiquiti are all good names, but really pretty much any switch that isn't super-cheap is fine. (there are some "no-name" brands out there that are prone to failure)
