Roy and HG are the perfect Vegas correspondents because they’ve been talking about the Vegas idea on “Bludging on the Blindside” for the past two years - even before it was officially announced.

Reminds me of when they covered the AFL and NBL grand finals one year when betting scandals among players had caused big problems. They had some fake betting ads urging single mothers with hungry children and overdue rent payments to bet the money because they were sure to win. Always wondered what someone might think if they tuned in without knowing what they were listening to.

And I wonder what the yanks would have thought of the scrum, especially if Rusty explained the purpose off the scrum & about how the half-back feeds the ball into the tunnel only, at the last second, to hurl it into his team's second row, thereby denying the opposing team the chance of gaining possession of the ball. All in front of the referee.

I respect Roy and hj but this is tall poppy syndrome right there. Why would you have a go at the NRL for trying to bring rugby league to American tv screens.
