Vlad Duchev, born in Ukraine, came to the States in 1994. He has made a big impression on the plein air and contemporary representational oil scene with his luscious brushwork and sublime sense of color harmony.
I’m very excited to see Vlad on Charlie’s show. I have one of Vlad’s paintings. It’s just a tiny one because that’s all I could afford. But I’m very happy to have it hanging on my wall. I wish I had a tiny one of yours Charlie. But anyway, Vlad, I’ve been watching you since you started your CZcams channel. It’s a very good channel full of so much useful information about everything from your business to the practicalities of making a painting from the canvas to the frames to the actual painting process. I don’t follow that many people, but I found a lot of valuable information following you. I thank you for that. And you too, Charlie. I would love one day to be able to do a workshop with both of you. God willing.
