@5:00: Before replacing the module, you could've confirmed it was receiving power and signal, because those could've explained the symptoms as well.

Have you ever been called on and after an hour's call? ...on call because of a smoke detector chiping every now and then. I told the resident I would be in and put batteries in the detector in the morning. She became upset. I mean, it was 11 pm at night. That's not an emergency the smoke detector is hard wired in also.
