you know u can make a blow off valve work with a air compressor blow off valve switch and intercooler piping and a blow off valve piping 12v battery wire's you can even put in on bike's to and suck and such

IDK why, but this makes me think of that Road Kill episode where they take an old Monza and throw 6 leaf blowers in the hatch and make custom tubing hooking all of them up to basically supercharge the car. They dyno tested it and it did make a little more power. It was funny to watch.
I don't remember where I saw it. Someone used the most powerful leaf blower for a Supercharger and got 1.5 horsepower extra out of a Fiesta Motor on the Dyno. I don't have one but I'd get it cause I love the bov sound. My Rx7 was twin turbo and didn't have the bov sound and I was hurt lol. But the maintenance and issues I had running twin turbo were very REAL. Sound without maintenance is my assumption
I'm going to buy one because I drive a 2010 corolla and have done just about everything I could to make it better than it is. Chip, exahst, Pedel max, lowered. Due to finances and an accident I cannot afford a better car but want to be happy with what I drive.

ITs funny fast cars would gun it at every red light then if I caught up to them at the next light I would rev on them and the fake turbo sound would go off then they would take off all normal when the light turned green lol I think they didn't want to risk losing to a Saturn Ion lots of fun when I had this.
Why I want it? My GTI that I installed an open BOV crashed and my daily diesel turbo doesn't sound that good. And it is only a tabu because people make it. Honestly, these days I don't even judge ricers, it's your car. If you put some effort into it and actually love it - it's great. That's what counts.

I remember i had one off those fake blow off valve's in my 95 Mitsubishi lancer gti 1800 cc sedan 2015 here in Auckland new Zealand i still to this day haven't come across anyone here in Auckland and Waikato region area yet it will be new here if a lot off people new about it like flowing down the street's when I had it making it go off dam cool and new here like it I'll get another one for my 96 Honda civic sedan sometime or even try to make one up with a different sound cool vid by the way Cheer's
I put one in a few years back as a joke but ran the power wire through a toggle switch so I could shut it off. Which was off 99.99999% of the time lol id just click it on when I was goofin around.
My favorite thing to do was catch red lights and be next to guys who were flooring it at every light weaving through traffic, I would activate the fake BOV in my Saturn and they would take off at the green light all slow LOL

Old Eclipses is one of those look at on craigslist cars for me and it's rare when I see one that isn't a a flat out junk/parts car. I saw a clean stock convertible a few months ago, Cars from the 90s are so nice and a lot smaller then modern cars.
Think you missed a reason why some people buy this. There are many that have turbos, but you just can't hear them. So they don't buy this to fake turbo, since they do have a real turbo, but just want to get the sound to match it.

Nice man, Cobalt SS,Redlines and SRT4s were nice little cars that a lot of people just abused. I'm impressed when I see a nice one on the street. I considered a SS or Redline for a daily driver since they are so cheap now.

I drove the car in this video about 2 years after making this video. I kept in this fake turbo for fun. I would just mess with people at a light. You seen those guys that floor it and cut everyone off on side streets. Sometimes I would catch up to them at a light and Rev on them in this Saturn with a fake Turbo and they would look straight ahead and when the light turned green they would drive normal. I think they didn't want to risk losing to a College Girl looking Car lol
one has a DT-360 in it.. (5.9 IHC inline 6 turbo) and the other has a T-444E(very similar to the 94-03 Powerstroke 7.3)... the 444 I dont hear the turbo as much... but since the DT-360 is basically a small derivative of a semi-truck engine, i hear the turbo in that one much like you hear the turbo in a semi-truck.. the Cats are great engines just pricey to get parts for... the DT 360 / 466 are everywhere and parts are reasonable.. plus that can be in-frame rebuilt. it has sleeved cylinders... the 444 of course since ford bought them from IHC and called them powerstrokes theres all kinds of parts and aftermarket stuff for them... Fake car mods remind me as a kid turning the air-cleaner lid upside down on a 2 barrel to make it sound like a 4.. and then driving wit hthe windows closed even when we didnt have A/C so people would think we did.. lol yeah im old :)
I placed the switch so that the sound only comes on when I push the pedal down more then halfway. You can place the switch to make the sound g off even if you push the pedal soft its all up to you

This is a good mod for high school kids. When I was in high school these were $150.00. I'm glad I never resorted to getting one when I got my first job. $27.00 I'm sure the 500 sold from the auction I got it from were mostly kids buying it. Just don't show off your engine in the parking lot!

There's worse stuff on Ebay. This atleast does what it's advertised. It makes it sound like you have a turbo car. One of the worse scams on ebay is the Electric Supercharger. Basically a computer fan and sellers claim it will add 50+ horsepower to your car. All for $50! Turbo/Supercharger engine options tend to go for what? an extra $3000?

My Saturn Ion Redline in supercharged 😎 you can boost yours for cheap, it pretty much bolts up just need a tune.

I drove the car in this video about 2 years after making this video. I kept in this fake turbo for fun. I would just mess with people at a light. You seen those guys that floor it and cut everyone off on side streets. Sometimes I would catch up to them at a light and Rev on them in this Saturn with a fake Turbo and they would look straight ahead and when the light turned green they would drive normal. I think they didn't want to risk losing to a College Girl looking Car lol

one has a DT-360 in it.. (5.9 IHC inline 6 turbo) and the other has a T-444E(very similar to the 94-03 Powerstroke 7.3)... the 444 I dont hear the turbo as much... but since the DT-360 is basically a small derivative of a semi-truck engine, i hear the turbo in that one much like you hear the turbo in a semi-truck.. the Cats are great engines just pricey to get parts for... the DT 360 / 466 are everywhere and parts are reasonable.. plus that can be in-frame rebuilt. it has sleeved cylinders... the 444 of course since ford bought them from IHC and called them powerstrokes theres all kinds of parts and aftermarket stuff for them... Fake car mods remind me as a kid turning the air-cleaner lid upside down on a 2 barrel to make it sound like a 4.. and then driving wit hthe windows closed even when we didnt have A/C so people would think we did.. lol yeah im old :)

I placed the switch so that the sound only comes on when I push the pedal down more then halfway. You can place the switch to make the sound g off even if you push the pedal soft its all up to you

I ended up keeping this in my Saturn. Its funny if I see a fast car ripping it through every green light if I happen to pull up next to them I would rev on them then they would hear my fake turbo. At the next green light they take off like Normal. It's hilarious intimidating people with this thing lol

My worst car crime ever is installing Hubcaps with fake brake rotors. I wanted rims so bad but couldn't afford it. Looking back at it now it's funny. I'm glad I still have 2 of them.

Basically a computer fan and sellers claim it will add 50+ horsepower to your car. All for $50! Turbo/Supercharger engine options tend to go for what? an extra $3000?
