Also I truly believe that the walking dead should’ve ended with the Negan story line once he was “beat”. The show lost most of its sense of pace and it’s real being was just overall muddied and ruined
Like most popular things, when people realized they could make some money on it, it ended up bloated to the point that it's unrecognizable to the thing that became popular in the first place.
I think it is 1 and 2. I think there is going to be a massive crossover of characters at the end to help finally rid the world of CRM and found out there is a cure and how all of it got started in the first place. The heavy show runners will be Morgan and Strand, Madison and possibly Alicia MAYBE D and Sherrie, then Rick and Michonne, and Daryl and no telling who he will bring with him Health's brother maybe? and Then Maggie and Negan. No telling who else is coming from the other spin offs have seen so far. It will be a gathering of the heaviest brilliant actors in the history of the shows. It will look like the MCU endgame movie in a way. They are taking their time on how all of this is going to look like at the end. By the way I think it is BS that none of the actors from the show got any major awards for their roles. Melissa McBride should of gotten something.
Melissa McBride, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Andrew Lincoln and Norman Redus, among others, all put in award worthy performances at various times. Tennis James def should have won an award for his guest appearance in the spectacular season 3 episode "Clear". Did the cast win an award as an ensemble? Maybe they got a SAG for that.
TWD can't thrive as long it is on AMC, and having Scott Gimple on board, this guy is worst than D&D from GoT, he completely destroyed everything when he killed Carl, and AMC don't spend 5 cents of budget, AND demands 16 fckn episodes, there is no way this franchise works on AMC anymore, Amazon should buy the rigths and reboot it the right way with Robert Kirkman as a producer.
I’m gonna be honest I was nervous for the future. But when I seen the sneak peek where they brought Glen back and he says “I’m gonna Morb” I gotta pretty interested. Anyone else?
The show is one of the most popular and watched shows in the whole world. Why not keep going and making new content for us fans? Why does everything have to end after 4 seasons? 12 years in and TWD still one of the most popular shows in the whole world. And you say "cash grab"
@@editz4fun172 I call bullshit on “most watched show”. At ONE TIME it was the most watched show, years ago. Then people stopped watching because the story got repetitive and predictable. Believe it or not, not everyone wants to watch a show just because of the title name, some people actually want to watch a coherent plot with good dialogue. That’s what Frank Darabont achieved in the first season, which blows seasons 7,8,9,10 and 11 all out of the water.
After all these spin-offs are done, they should just restart with an adaptation of the Telltale Games’ story with Clementine. 7-8 seasons of her life adapted from the game (not a 1:1 adaptation obviously but a lot of similar stories and concepts)
It’s definitely situations 2 and 3, AMCs constant scandals and lawsuits are conflicting with the budget and actors. World Beyond ended, main show ended, Tales was canceled, Fear’s getting canceled and Ricks show is only getting 6 short episodes. AMC promised this big Avengers infinity war thing but they have no clue how to deliver and are just milking to buy off time before they fail the franchise completely. Maybe I’m wrong but I haven’t been with this, they need to end the current story because fans have waited long enough.
Yeah they did say tales of twd would have episodes that acts as a prequel to some characters before arriving in twd. i get them not wanting to do a full season of that, but two or three episodes like that could have been good. Hm.. Maybe that was the original plan, but then budget issues happened and they didnt want to hire the well known twd actors due to high pay and instead opt for lesser known actors for less pay? Years ago when this show was just getting announced i thought they mentioned something about a glenn prequel episode? Well.. atleast we kinda got that with glenn being in telltales twd episode 1, granted that was comic glenn and not steven yuen glenn
Dude we have to be optimistic. .I'm.99% sure that the reason they went into spinoffs is to get the rights back from Netflix. That's right: you can't watch THE WALKING DEAD on AMC Plus for long, after each season. I'm ALSO pretty sure there were meant to be 12 seasons: hence the spinoffs. Money is likely an issue. I THINK they know what they're doing.with the story. Ironically enough, I feel like the BEST possible thing would be for Netflix or Amazon to buy the ip and bring simple and co along.
I figured this would be the last season is it not? In other words I assumed the future of The Walking Dead was dead other than any spin-off created I think they went in such a Direction with the show that it's not meant to go on much longer I feel like getting rid of Rick and Carl really affected the show negatively seeing as Rick started off as pretty much the main character then one day he was just gone now Daryl and all of the in between characters are the main characters it's just kind of backwards
im itching to know who was in the helicopter in the finale and sucks i gotts wait to find out i feel like it being victor is a little far fetched but who know, any predictions?
They keep mass producing spin-offs, but they should’ve taken a page from Vince Gilligan: Tell a story. Let that story be told. When the time is right, a spinoff that tells more of the story. Maybe even a movie. Once it’s all over and you have nothing left to say at the moment? Step away for awhile. AMC made the mistake of assuming they’d get movies. Then they realized “oh shit we’re not getting these movies are we” and then went for spin-offs. THEN they announced them BEFORE THE SHOW EVEN ENDING, killing all suspense for the most part. They even tried this with Slippin’ Jimmy, and it was so poorly received that they gave up. If it were up to them, Breaking Bad would have so many spin-offs at once, but without Vince they can’t do shit.
I have a theory for dead city Jeffrey dean Morgan teased that we will be seeing familiar faces I'm thinking Alicia Clark and then they go home and if ftwd crosses over with twd Alicia and Madison will find each other unlikely because Alycia debnam Carey has been filming other shows but I still hope
The only reason they decided to do a spin-off was because of the popularity that WAS the MCU. I say was because MCU has been struggling to break even with every film since Endgame. But the problem with TWD as a universe is simply this, the show peaked with Season 5 in terms of viewership, dropping off gradually until the Season 7 premiere then it was all downhill from there. No one cares about The Walking Dead anymore, perhaps the Rick spin-off, but a spin off featuring one of the most disliked characters in the entire show. Yes I am talking about frigging Maggie, Goddamn she should have stayed gone, the more logical two that had a great chemistry was Daryl & Negan, but Daryl as a standalone I don't see being much good personally. He's great as a character but as a lead??? No.
for the reddit comment at 4:56, my explanation is that back in 2011, AMC had no idea how popular The Walking Dead was going to be. there were so so so many different types of zombie media flooding the market at the time that TWD had a very good chance of just being another flop on the long list of Failed AMC Projects. AMC back then didnt have faith in it so they purposely put as little money into it as possible to avoid losing too much in case it did flop. now, with hindsight, we all know that was a massively stupid move but from a business standpoint it would make sense to underfund a project youre unsure of.
All spin-offs (except Rick's) are unnecessary. Negan and Maggie's "thing" could be done in the final season. Dont care about Daryl in Paris, love him, but Daryl is over. Rick's show is necessary, he is the main character and i hope it will end this The Walking Dead universe.
Finally someone else who feels the same way. Who cares about the adventures of Naggie and Daryl in France when they will make no sense and won’t contribute or matter to the story?😂
One theory of mine why they actually decided to postpone the rick and michonne show is so they can end fear s8 before and there show rick and maybe his escape while in the rick and michonne series we see their reunion and the end of the crm saga with a big finale that needs long preparation
Yooo clash. Yea I am worried for the walking dead to man. They add stupid and dumb stuff they just need to go back to original. Survivng finding building.u know what I mean
Idc if it took them 5 years..just make it good, especially rn u got the last of us will be the next walking dead u know what I mean,so I really hope they don’t fuck it up
a part of my brain is telling me that all spin offs are going to be fucking trash, but sometimes they really do a great job, like, world beyond had some great moments, fear has some episodes that are actualy better than most of twd newest seasons, and now that they've adapted everything from the comics, the spin offs are fully off script, which means that they can get more creative with it yk, go a little silly, a liittle crazy yk, like, i would fucking love to see another teddy type character or a nuclear bomb type of situation
Best thing that could happen to TWD as a brand is Amc losing the right, give it a decade then do a comic faithful animated series, do what Invicable did except the Amber part.
I still believe the Negan/Maggie story line is one of the stupidest things ever… Also Andrew Lincoln has stated in MULTIPLE times he will never return to the walking dead in any form of “long term projects”
The main show ended well enough, but it was not even close to what it once was, Fear is ending and has been terrible for years, and both World Beyond and Tales were 2 of the worst shows I have ever seen. I have no idea how they thought 3 spin offs to a dying franchise is the way to go. One spin off finishing Rick's story? Definitely, bring it on. Another spin off with Daryl? Cool I guess. ANOTHER spin off with Maggie and Negan? What the hell?? I really hope they tie it all up in a somewhat satisfying way.
Why don’t they make a prequel series called Origins? If you played TWD: Survival Instinct, that was Daryl’s and Meryle’s origin story. That’s one to two episodes there. Maybe three. Just one season for prequels.
All I'll say is Kirkman ended the comics for a.reason. He knew it was time. 11.seasons, and 3 shows so far. Hate to say it , but maybe it's time to do the same with the shows.
Honestly, this all could’ve been prevented if they just did everything right in the main show and followed the comics a bit more. It’s just too much imo. Should’ve just been the one show but now they gotta do this since they drove away their actors.

*Lennie James
TWD can't thrive as long it is on AMC, and having Scott Gimple on board, this guy is worst than D&D from GoT, he completely destroyed everything when he killed Carl, and AMC don't spend 5 cents of budget, AND demands 16 fckn episodes, there is no way this franchise works on AMC anymore, Amazon should buy the rigths and reboot it the right way with Robert Kirkman as a producer.
I stopped at season 8 of the first show so sad for the other fan but when editing is not good enought i don't why i will folow.
I’m gonna be honest I was nervous for the future. But when I seen the sneak peek where they brought Glen back and he says “I’m gonna Morb” I gotta pretty interested. Anyone else?
AMC is laying off 85% of its staff; thus could be it
Definitely, they’re going under
Why can’t anyone see that it’s just a cash grab at this point? It’s clear that they want to milk it.
@@jackandrews7878 I agree, TWD needs to end eventually and I’m not interested in these pointless spin offs minus Ricks.
After all these spin-offs are done, they should just restart with an adaptation of the Telltale Games’ story with Clementine. 7-8 seasons of her life adapted from the game (not a 1:1 adaptation obviously but a lot of similar stories and concepts)
Bro how do you get your videos so good I tried and I failed I love your videos
No such thing as failing bro. I’ve been doing videos for many years, if you’re just starting don’t rush, keep learning and get better overtime 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Y’all seem like old leafy fans. I was one too. Lol
Miss first seasons
all i wanna see is rick and negan meeting eachother
Fear would have been so good if AMC didn't trade its identity for a cheap ass crossover
They keep mass producing spin-offs, but they should’ve taken a page from Vince Gilligan:
Tell a story.
Scrap all these mid spin offs and give us bob adams and eisenberg at the warriors game spin off
Need a Bob Adams spin off
Most of these "New Show's" will "Bite".... "Negan & Maggie" wtf are they thinking
Idk what AMC is doing, I love the universe so much but I'm a little concerned
No.
🙏 thank god fear is ending 🙏
As the old saying goes, “Get woke go broke”
Like Kirkman need money. money grabbing producers. money is all they care about, not the Walking Dead.
i have might skipped a part but i heard that over the seasons walkers are falling apart so what if every walker in future will die because of that
for the reddit comment at 4:56, my explanation is that back in 2011, AMC had no idea how popular The Walking Dead was going to be. there were so so so many different types of zombie media flooding the market at the time that TWD had a very good chance of just being another flop on the long list of Failed AMC Projects. AMC back then didnt have faith in it so they purposely put as little money into it as possible to avoid losing too much in case it did flop. now, with hindsight, we all know that was a massively stupid move but from a business standpoint it would make sense to underfund a project youre unsure of.
Nah, I’m hopeful these guys know what they’re doing.
Ahh the lucas way of doing things, empty promises, lack of discipline, kicking a dead horse, and charging us more then needed for the experience
One theory of mine why they actually decided to postpone the rick and michonne show is so they can end fear s8 before and there show rick and maybe his escape while in the rick and michonne series we see their reunion and the end of the crm saga with a big finale that needs long preparation
Clashed you should make a discord server.
Why can't they just let it die man? They fucked up when they killed Carl off, that typa damage can't be reversed
Yooo clash. Yea I am worried for the walking dead to man. They add stupid and dumb stuff they just need to go back to original. Survivng finding building.u know what I mean
Wait will the spin offs ever be on Netflix
AMC is having issues . They are missing $$. Big time. It's been in the news.
They just need a Bob Adams spinoff and they can be swimming in pools of money
I still believe the Negan/Maggie story line is one of the stupidest things ever…
Also Andrew Lincoln has stated in MULTIPLE times he will never return to the walking dead in any form of “long term projects”
That’s really bad😬
Well its AMC so it almost definitely has something to do with money
i wouldnt worry too much about the lawsuit it might be thrown out
The main show ended well enough, but it was not even close to what it once was, Fear is ending and has been terrible for years, and both World Beyond and Tales were 2 of the worst shows I have ever seen.
You really sound like Pegasus
Why don’t they make a prequel series called Origins? If you played TWD: Survival Instinct, that was Daryl’s and Meryle’s origin story. That’s one to two episodes there. Maybe three. Just one season for prequels.
bob adams spinoff in the works
fire best yt news
Interesting, I just finished watching The Walking Dead do I watch Fear TWD?
All I'll say is Kirkman ended the comics for a.reason. He knew it was time.
11.seasons, and 3 shows so far. Hate to say it , but maybe it's time to do the same with the shows.
Kinda wished fear the walking dead in the water had been more in depth and was longer
thumbnail is giving sunnyv2
Honestly, this all could’ve been prevented if they just did everything right in the main show and followed the comics a bit more. It’s just too much imo. Should’ve just been the one show but now they gotta do this since they drove away their actors.
I'm worried for the future of that thumbnail.
agreed
Just started watching fear the walking dead lol
