I forgot Abt this but the swimming pattern will be zigzags to shallow to deep to shallow and etc in a fast rate and it will ignore your bait but will try to bite your hooked fishes (Hope this helps!)
And what I mean by farthest oceans is I mean farther than the crasher location and the swimming pattern is on repeat to left and then to the right and back to the left and etc and the fight mechanic is up to the abyss mod creator but it will have a strong and very long fight

You were right, in the first one to catch treat and tricks light shows location of treat, and you need to get him there to make treat spawn
