Hi there!
My name is Dela and I moved to Ghana from the UK in 2014. I have been living here with my 4 and trying to build a house in Ghana while establishing the lifestyle that we have craved for years.
On this channel, I'll be showcasing what it's like to live in Ghana and be a part of the diaspora, building a house in Ghana, and some relationship talks too.
I hope you'll enjoy this channel. Don't forget to subscribe if you do!

Hi Dela, you need to waterproof your rooftop deck with waterproofing paint. That water will
keep penetrating the cement eventually entering the ceiling into your home. Mason needs to slope that water to rain gutters before the paint is applied.
Get hand rails installed for your staircase. Always get a few alternate quotes after doing your own rough estimation on quantities of materials you likely to need.
❤❤❤Dela, I'm so sorry you are having these issues. You will push through all this.
And remember, in anything worth doing, there will be set's back. But think of the near future when everything is finished and you can sit back and take a breath.
God is on your side, giving you the strength to go on.
Dela, you are doing a wonderful job. God bless you.
I am going to be built a two bedroom soon. You have given me valuable information since you've been building. If you don't mind me asking. how for are you from accra Airport.
I am going to be staying in Ghana for a while. I will be going back and forth from Accra and Kumasi. Maybe I will try to find your Air/bb on air/bb apartment. ❤❤
You need proper contractors, just about abybody can construct right corners, stucco and paint; but if no true design is involved this is what you get. I think that is going to be a sink hole!
May I suggest you hire new contractors! I can suggest one person who comes highly recommended!
Since I have been seeing videos about women coming back to Ghana to build and getting bad issues...I have been thinking about you and praying for you..I mean really 😊
Thank you. I need it 🙏🏾🤎
Little by little you are getting there. Keep going sis 🙏🏾💖👍🏾✅
What Bird was that? Theres evidently a message the Bird is trying to give you.
Tell me more about builders and completing a project in Ghana 🇬🇭. SMH
❤❤❤

The young couple that you interviewed that built their house by herself with just it was not contractors. You need to get some help from them because you got some poor construction down to that house and they are just making you spend money at the money the money.
The solar panels need cleaning, they are dusty.
Yeah another job on my to do list 😩
@@moretodela use this as your work out. Doing these tasks is also gym work.
Maybe it’s time to part ways with that contractor and find a new one! Is your ex not in Gana anymore? Even if youse two are not together he is a builder. Surely he can advise you it’s hard maintaining property, especially in Gana.
Which company did your solar panels?
SPS
the gutters are in emptying to the wrong places
Grave!! who did you burry in there?
Mr Chippings and rocks 😂😂😂 just stones please 🤣🤣🤣
@@moretodela Lmao
Melting tubes with paper? Thats a red flag... those pipes will leak eventually. Get rid of them and get plumbers that work with plastic melting machines.
Is there such a thing as that in GH?
@@moretodela There is im sure. However, im from Mozambique i bought my own. I'm sure if you ask around they will recommend a plumber that works with it.
U need a new plumber.
I feel your kids are gonna be going away to college when you’re finally done with your home. You need the help of a man
WON'T THEY EVER COME BACK HOME?
