That's why it doesn't have to break Indy's canon. He actually les him through some adventures, though.

The graphics are better in the PC Version. The PS2 Graphics aren‘t that good. Unfortunately you have to use certain programs to play older games like this one on PC nowadays.

Then the CGI for the 1984 Temple of Doom version of Harrison Ford and Wu Han. Similar to how Carrie Fisher was for Rogue One. Then the person who plays General Hux in the New Star Wars trilogy. He would be the Nazi Commander.
On hard level, it took me 6 months to complete the game on movie mode. Which means finishing the game without a death. Yes a perfect game, I was able to do it in 2010 and 2011. Trust me, the hardest part was going through the Nazi camp in Peng Lai island on low level health during the walkthru before stipulating to movie mode, you need to keep the med packs handy during that level do to no water areas. Going through the walkthru, suggest for everyone to take notes just like I did in studying the order of the pillars. When having the mirror of dreams when you go through the hidden traps. Similar to how Indy had his fathers grail diary in Last Crusade. I call this the Emperors Tomb dairy.
The 2 Peng Lai chapters are really serious business. The enemies are intelligent. And also the thing with this chapter is the alarm and the flame thrower guys! Especially in comparison to the Black Dragon Fortress which should be harder given it is the next chapter after those two. The first level of the Istanbul chapter is also hard - especially when you want to fight with fists only.

I liked this game a lot and didn't expect it to be this good. Shame the final boss fight was cheasy and easy. The ending was OK but could have been more impacting for the difficult journey. This game was made by the some guys that made the buffy game.
Just like Indy falling into pitfalls, this game certainly definitely has all the pitfalls of an early 2K console action platformers, sparse checkpoints, bad controls, crappy platforming, sometimes stupidly erratic difficulty curve. The other one comes to mind is X2 Wolverine's Revenge and that Spider-man game that came out this around time as well.
