Deanna! First of all let me say you have beautiful handwriting!! You are an amazing crafter and are a very generous person to share all of your ideas with us. I am from Indiana and I retired in 2016. I was an interior designer for over 25 years and I love to sew and craft so I thought I would try my hand at craft fairs this year. I know things sell for different prices depending on where in the country you live; however, I am using your prices as a guideline. Thank you for sharing your crafty life with us. You are loved â„
Your items are absolutely adorable. I don't know what geographical location you are selling in, or what the market will normally bear where you are, but in my opinion you are greatly underselling yourself! You need to consider your time and your craftmanship, the items are so lovely!
On the travelers notebook kits..I think that's a unique idea to keep them in the clear take out box. You can see everything and it just looks so different. I think the pizza box nugget packs looks cute in the box but you can always cut out an oval and put a piece of acetate over it so you can see inside. The packaging on the hand sanitizers is adorable. Love the tote bag but honestly...all that work and people just won't buy a bag I have found. That's why stopped making sew type items for craft shows. It could just be my area that they just don't sell, who knows. I wish you luck with those and hope you sell them all. Shopping bags etc are so cheap these days. I've seen the minke baby blanket with a teething ring attached and a rattle of some sort. I like the idea of the kcup with a mug and some cookies..good idea. Pricing is on point with all of these things. I can't believe you've so many great ideas ! You are so good at what you do !!
Thank you for sharing all this great information! (I think your handwriting is adorableđ) I think your price points are spot on for your area! Can't wait for your next sewing project!
Please please please donât ever apologize to these mean spirited people for what or how you do anything! So what you may not have the nicest handwriting....who cares. You have a beautiful creative spirit. Shine! â€ïž
Deanna, youâre my craft fair hero!!! Iâm constantly amazed at how many ideas and projects you manage to complete by craft fair season! I only do one, maybe two shows per year and Iâm NEVER ready when it comes. You keep me motivated! Thank you for sharing!! Iâm committed to doing a better job this year! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love your crafts. I don't do paper crafts but I love your craftsmanship! I am interested in the key chains, k cups, and gift baskets. I love to see wood crafts, paintings, bows, and glassware. I can't wait to see your crafting video's!
Post it notes with elastic closure, great idea, keeps every thing tidy, should be a good seller, Your Hand writing is FIND, who ever said their was a TEST ON HAND WRITTING.
Thank you so much for sharing your gift with all of us. I am a crafter and now really starting to take the craft fair scene seriously. Thank you for being a great inspiration to me. Barbara
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I am getting ready for a Craft Market in November and had no idea for pricing, your video is an answer to prayer. Blessings
Love watching you make the things for your craft fairs. Will be looking forward to more of your video's. Thanks for showing use all of the things today. Deloma
I love everything you create. Loved all these videos. Key chains i would say $5.00 . All others you are spot on. Not overpricing is how you will sell out your items quickly. Good luck on your subbies going up. You deserve it . I find your videos so informative and always giving us ideas as to what to sell. Your ideas are great selling items. Canât wait to see #36. Thank you for sharing them with us. đ
I absolutely love your idea for the k-cup gift basket. Maybe a cute saying on a dollar tree cup. I wish I lived close, would definitely come to your craft fair
Hi I would like to buy two of your notebooks 2 for 5 . I like to scrible things down all the time and maybe we could do marketing or something .Thanks I enjoyed sheittaspence@gmail.com. nice vedio.
Thank you so much for your channel. You are very creative. Love how you break down your costs and explain where you got the materials. Appreciate you sharing your fantastic ideas.
This is a great video Deanna! Your pricing is fair very reasonable. Videos like this help us newbies more than you know. Big THANK YOU for thatđ. Hugs!đđ
Your writing is beautiful, shows an "artistic" flare. I love the fact you give an individual price and slightly cheaper for 2 or more of any of your items. Your Notebooks I would pop elastic round them like your Post it Notes. What a lovely selection of goodies so far. Patricia x
So creative and beautiful items! Thank you for all your great ideas and instructional videos. Deanna you are so talented and so sweet! Love and best wishes!!!!!
Your writing is lovely. Enjoyed and I think you are selling at great prices. Yes you have to consider where you live. We stay in a small town and not many jobs in this area so when I do sell stuff consider my customers and try to do fair pricing for all to get that is why I am looking for craft fairs. It is not much money to be made in my area.
Love your ideas. Your prices are interesting ... you need to charge enough for your supplies and make some money. I very much enjoy watching you. You are thoughtful and generous of spirit. I wish you much success at your craft fairs. Canât wait to see more of your ideas! I am making the MFT lip balms to put in gift bags for a scrapbooking day to raise money for cancer research. I thought it would be not so bad ... but just costing the pouches and lip balms and using the paper that I have and adding the tape has added up. Iâm not counting the cost of the MFT dies. So far my cost is over $2.50 for each one. I do hope the participants like them. Iâm making 90 of them!
You are completely underselling yourself!! Next craft fair, try upping your prices on a few things, because for that amount of work, you deserve the $$$. Your time is the most valuable thing you put into your work!!
Thanks for offering all this information, I am planning to do craft fairs when I retire (5 years to go!), and am just trying a few things as of last year at work (I am a teacher), we had a small craft fair in our teachers room, just with folks who work at my school, and do crafting, to sell during lunch time. I made a few things to sell. So I am getting my feet wet very slowly, as a newbie craft fair vendor! I am going to try a few of your ideas for this years fair, which will be in December, same as last year. Thanks again, good luck at your fairs this year!
I love your handwriting! Neat and easy to read, wish mine looked that good! Itâs funny what people will make comments on....not like it is a handwriting video! Very silly person to say the least! Love your ideas! Thanks for sharing! Nice work!
I really donât understand people being so hateful criticizing your handwriting, or even your items or peopleâs videos. If you donât like something, move on! Nobody says you have to watch...move on! Great ideas and prices. I love your creativity and enthusiasm! Be you! Donât listen to negativity. Good luck at your craft fairs!
It just Amazes me how ignorant and rude people can be! Thanks for your advice and for sharing what you have made and suggested prices. This was helpful....and I am inspired by your ideas! Be blessed!!
I love your handwriting. So pretty. Why do some people have to be so negative? Love all your videos. You are such an inspiration. How many craft fairs do you do a year? I use to do them with the jewelry I make. They are a lot of work. God Bless You!
Deanna, just 2 a year ? Do you sell online or consignment stores .....so much work you put into everything ...... you have a huge variety ! So professional ! I know you put such love and work into everything ! I agree the way you price but some could go up and some down, lots depend on where you sell ? I know my prices were low, but I priced items what I would pay , You are very nice to share what you make and I hope it is worth it for you ... Iâd hear oh ! I could do that ! Grr! But when I tell them if you just make one the cost is outrageous! But doing multiples and buying in bulk makes it worth while ...ex...sometimes Iâd use 10 + paint colors, Use a credit card reader, it really added many sales and not too expensive .... A must for any crafter? You have to have new stuff at each show, each year ! people always remarked on that, they liked my stall as I always had new stuff, heard so many say as they passed other stalls, itâs the same old same olds ! Just because you sold out an item at one craft show ? Does not mean you would at next one ! Itâs not easy to judge ! Also your display has to be inviting , got to draw people in to sell.....just dumping stuff on a table is not appealing , using baskets and other things elevated is eye catching, you can find items to help with your display, even a box covered in nice material and appropriate to what you make , can lift a basket or item at more eye level, took me years to be happy with my display !! In my case I put a cute picture on brown bags With my name and info, and many other crafters said it was not necessary ! But next show many copied my idea and said it was great advertising ! I used them for smaller items, wrapped in tissue paper first I Used NEW PLASTIC BAGS , used business cards, entrance fees for craft shows is overwhelming ! Organizers make the money ! LOL ... I LOVED doing shows, met so many nice people ...but did not make a huge profit, What did I sell?, l painted on wood items, and an assortment of other things, Iâd find thrift store items and upsize them, Hubby Made stools, little kid chairs, and cut my wood out, kitchen towel holders with several toppers ie., pig, teapot, cat, cow etc! So many ideas....sorry! I rattled on! But sadly due to health problems we had to stop! I donât do much crafts anymore, quilt and do scrapbooks ....
From one Texas crafter to another I truly think you make such beautiful things! Also, I grew up in Plano, and now live in Florida and was beyond excited to find out you are in the Dallas area!!!! I am also a new subscriber and was wondering if you have any tutorials for either of your bows? I am physically disabled but with the help of two other friends and about to participate in my first craft fair! I am beyond excited!!! And last but not least... youâre handwriting is just fine! I could read/see it clearly!
Thanks for sharing all of the items you have made. I think your advice about pricing is spot on. Every area is a little different in that way. I think you are fair and it is better to price according to what your market will bear or you will bring most of it home. You really know what you are doing.
Love your items. Would love to see how you display them. Great prices. If you charge too much people don't buy I love creating but it's a lot of work doing shows and I just cannot do them anymore. Good luck at your shows.
Love your ideas. I have used them in my own craft fairs here in NC. When people ask how I got these ideas, I tell them to look you up. Some ask if you "sell"your ideas. LOL. I tell them that we in the craft world love to share!!! Question: When you do combo discounts like $3 or 2/$5, do you allow them to mix and match anything on your table or just that item? Thanks for sharing everything. Love your videos.
Seeing people comment on the negative things someone said about your handwriting is one of the very reasons why I stopped using social media. The whole concept is supposed to be centered on being social, but somewhere along the way people decided to use it as a platform to spout negativity. How petty and small are you that you would even think of a comment about something as subjective as someoneâs handwriting. Creativity is subjective and this young lady is gifted with a blessing that maybe some are just jealous of!
OMG! THIS WAS SUPER AMAZING & INFORMATIVE! I AM JUST STARTING OUT & I WATCH UR VIDEOS TO INSPIRE ME & I USE THE YT CRAFTING & DIY COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORT! ITS GREAT THAT YOUR HUBBY IS SUPPORTIVE (MINE IS NOT, UNFORTUNATELY HE THINKS ITS A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!)SO PLEASE KEEP THE IDEAS CRAFTS & VIDEOS COMING! THANKS SOOOOO MUCH!đ„°đâïžđđđđ§¶đ
Hey Deanna!! I always love these kind of videos!! I think your pricing is really good. With the grab bags I would mention an age range if you are gearing toward kids. I do that because there is always that person that buys for a child that has no clue lol. Also, for cheap K cups, keep checking Dollar Tree. Last year I got Entamenns Hot Cocoa K cups there. One box had 3. I think they watched your video last year! Keep smiling!
watching this, I remembered why I bought a bunch of the decorative elastic! It was because I wanted to make your post it note holders. They are so cute and look fun to make, as well as a lot of our projects. I love them all! As far aas the comment about your handwriing, I don't know why people get so picky. I think your writing is fine, certainly a lot neater than mine. Debby Young
Hi Deanna, I personally think you are such a sweetheart and very much enjoy watching your channel!! I don't comment much anymore on people's channels (i need to work on that) because i use to all the time. I sure wouldn't worry about someone talking about your writing hon. I think you do an awesome job on your videos and you explain exactly what you are doing as u do it. Keep up the good work and i'll be watching for #36 Hugs, Connie~
I love all your videos people are so rude with their comments and itâs very helpful to know what people like Iâm a newbi and learning from you all and your awesome and sweet.â€ïž
You should put some stickers or a couple lil cute clips with a decorative something on the end , maybe a couple of saying cards or some kinds of little stuff like that in your traveling notebook .. I know when I shop for a crafty notebook or scheduler the ones that really catch my eye or the ones that have those little cute stickers or fun things that I can use here in there ... just idea
Iâm 50 years old and write like a kid! đThatâs because Iâm still a kid at heart. Youâre writing is great and so is your video. Thank you!
Iâm a kid at heart also!

Your items are absolutely adorable. I don't know what geographical location you are selling in, or what the market will normally bear where you are, but in my opinion you are greatly underselling yourself! You need to consider your time and your craftmanship, the items are so lovely!
it is better to sale than to pack them up.......is my theory
Love your ideas & projects! Thank you!
That looks amazing everything looks great canât wait to see more!
Wow! You really worked hard putting all your sale items together. Iâm impressed. Thanks for sharing.
The post it note holder is my absolute favorite! I love those so much! Iâd definitely snatch one up!

Maria Serpa-Gauvin oh wow! Your making a lot! I have never made anything like that! Good luck!

Hi Deanna,
I personally think you are such a sweetheart and very much enjoy watching your channel!!
I don't comment much anymore on people's channels (i need to work on that) because i use to all the time.
I sure wouldn't worry about someone talking about your writing hon. I think you do an awesome job on your videos and you explain exactly what you are doing as u do it.
Keep up the good work and i'll be watching for #36
Hugs, Connie~

You should put some stickers or a couple lil cute clips with a decorative something on the end , maybe a couple of saying cards or some kinds of little stuff like that in your traveling notebook .. I know when I shop for a crafty notebook or scheduler the ones that really catch my eye or the ones that have those little cute stickers or fun things that I can use here in there ... just idea
