Forgot to include: A fellow T. Gohan player reminded me, delaying the last j.S before the 2nd bomb helps A LOT, especially on smaller characters. I also specifically did this combo on a small character like Kid Buu so that I don't hear complaints about it not working on him but hey I got those anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

With the recent 1.1 patch of DBFZ the hitbox of ground and air bomb was increased so you guys shouldn't have any trouble linking that 236H (or 236M) anymore.
Are you sure it's possible at all? I've been trying to learn this combo all day and I get as far as the 236H and they're always JUST out of reach. Really, really frustrating.
You're probably not delaying your j.S and last bomb.

If you can't hear the bomb among all the ruckus,watching the combo counter is a good alternative. At 1:13 T.Gohan dashes in right as the number changes. thought I should post it in case people didn't notice.
Surprisingly the hard oart of the combo is hitting that jump kick when u land

If you're like me and really struggling to hit the bomb loop there is a nice combo you can do off of the first bomb into more damage if you tack on an extra bar for a level 1 super, albeit a bit less corner carry. The combo is:
2M, M, J, M, L, L, J, M, S, 2S, Super Dash, L, M, 236H, 2M, M, 214M, 236LM - for 4765 damage minus the level 1 super and 5675 damage with it. This combo is waaay easier to hit consistently!
Added note: If your super bar is dry and you can't hit the 236H you can do 236M into vanish instead for 4694/5604 damage as the medium lightning legs will build you 1 bar, enough for the vanish.

I already achieve the full combo a few times in training but the timing is so hard I was thinking I would never be able to use it in "real combat", especially with the internet delay.
This version is far more "usable".
And because I like how community helps each other, I'd like to add my own part.
If you don't intend to use a lvl 1 super at the end, you could simply end the combo with 236H, 2M, M, 236M for 4950 dmg and 1 bar that will be 80% replenished.

Very cool, it's clear and precise and I love the fact that it's not just another guy boasting about his shiny combo. You're talented and you help other players to follow your path, that's something I respect a lot.
Now about the combo itself, it's really awesome that Gohan can pull off the bomb loop against any character but I still think it's very complicated and will probably cause people to drop the combo too often while under pressure (I mean more often than other characters with their basic J.cancel simple BnB).
It's cool for practicing combos/timing but Idoubt it will be reliable on real combat (and I hope top players will make me lie on this in the future).

To anyone having a bit of trouble landing the 236H in the combo; after landing the super dash try slightly delaying the M, it seemed to work a little more consistently for me
Like others, I have found it rather challenging to land the 236H after landing. I have included a clip of me landing it fairly easily in the corner, but whiffing consistently mid-screen. czcams.com/video/SqnAVhuwGo0/video.html - Any pointers you have on how to alleviate this would be appreciated. - I tried delaying the post SD M as you suggested but I'm still whiffing, would you mind looking at this and tell me where I can improve? Okay, its hard for me to tell whats wrong just from looking but maybe try delaying the super dash a little bit so that you're lower to the ground by the time you hit the super dash
when editing audio on sony vegas -> right click the audio -> lock to stretch. slow motions sound rlyh bad

Two questions. 1st. Are the two J.light punchs necessary or can I use LP, MP? 2nd. How important is positioning with this combo?

I just practiced this for 2 hours non stop and still can’t land the kick. It wiffs everytime
I’m not entirely sure it’s possible, have practiced it sparingly for weeks and it never connects. I wonder if it was nerfed or something. Which would be dumb because the last character that needs a need should be Teen Gohan.

Thanks for the video Rawkid360. It really helped me getting the timing on that second J.2s loop. I do have a question about air dashing after the second J.2s into a 3rd J.2s and then into the 236H . I seen it in another video but can't replicate due to not knowing the timing. Help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi, great video man I really want to play Teen Gohan. Your video is very clear but I still dont know what im doing wrong. I uploaded a video of me trying the loop a couple times. I'm dropping the 3rd part. Any tips would be awesome. Am I just not doing part 3 fast enough?

Im not sure if you can help but: Ive nailed down part 1 and 2 but when I go for qcfH at the end, i am just slightly out of range. Ive tried delaying the dash more but I still seem to be just out of range for the qcfH.

in the meantime, im subbing an assist to keep the combo going...but then at this point i dont see a real difference between using the bomb loop vs. the universal assist combo
A really informative vid. Although theres's something that still bothers me: I still can't find whats the difference between T. Gohan's 2S/J2S and 3S/J3S. Any chance you could tell me that?
i managed to do it a few times, but it took about 5 hours before i landed my first flying kick. i think EX flying kick is easier than medium.
the B&B can be used to chain the bomb technique as well
is an awesome looking combo, but chances of dropping this online are high, also you can get similar damage with a regular route into super which is way safer
but for the swag? yeah, it looks amazing :)

Sorry if this is a dumb question but can this combo be done if you're somewhere else in the screen? (Like the corner or something) or would that mess up the bombs?
I Just picked Up the game again and I'm interested to use my old team again with TGohan. Is there any assist that do you recommend? I'd like to try Baseku as Anchor, how does it perform? It has good approach, good combo synergy? Which would be a good third character if TGohan-Baseku core is good?
Slight note: this is a slide knockdown, not hard knockdown. Still, this helped me out when i started to learn some teen gohan basics
Another clarification, if you're unsure you're gonna be able to land 236H, you can always use a Beam Assist like Goku Black (fuck this guy), Goku, or Tien have, it's far more safer to do in online matches, since delaying the dragon dash can be painful having some frame delay.
Works on every character or it depends wich one is? I know the easiest one is Cell to do this combo but dont know with this metod can works on every character
Would you be open to making Gohan pressure vids or just how to approach neutral w him? Since he’s stubby and requires assist in that way more than other chars

Nice video, just wondering though, is the combo worth learning? Timing seems far too strict to consintently pull off in ranked matches especially with frame delay.

Depends on whether you're willing to take the character seriously tbh. I think its pretty viable though it does take a lot of practice. Even in the general 2f delay on netplay I think this combo is pretty consistent and viable. It just needs to broken down precisely and taken seriously. Once you get used to the timings it isn't as strict as it seems. On top of that, you kinda wanna capitalise on what T. Gohan does best, big dmg, great corner carry and solid pressure. Sure its alright at average levels of play if you don't wanna go for the crazy stuff but if you really want to maximise the potential of this character (no pun intended =P) yeah I definitely think its worth learning to say the least xD.
Thanks bro, your words really inspired me, Im actually a diehard fan of Teen Gohan, since I was kid, I use him in all games. That being said I learned the first half of the combo, I think it's the most important one, as it allows to land first bomb consinstently on anyone, into super dash into some hits, into lighting legs, into beam assist, into some more hits for easy 5k dmg with no meter usage, or can be vanish cancelled towards the end and linked into no motion. I also read your Teen Gohan guide, it's great, keep up the good content my man. You should also consider uploading some Teen Gohan gameplay videos of ranked matches, there aren't a lot of people uploading Teen Gohan stuff these days.
tbh the part that I'm having the hardest part with is the first segment. On Kid Buu and Frieza, the timing is much harsher than on, for example, Android 18. After the jM>L>L>jM, the timing for it seems to become so much more difficult.

Frieza also has a weird hit box that's hard to time.
I always use Frieza to practice and I'm so Inconstistent on the first bomb, the rest are fine
The first part only seems to work for me if I delay the j.M and not do it instantly like the video says. The j.S will completely wiff under them if I do the j.M straight away. Any tips?
i could time the airdash and it's great, but i struggling with the first double jump, most of the times gohan falls after the second j.L and i dont know if i am going too slow or too fast.
is it possible to still do the universal bomb loop with jLL jc jL instead of the jML jc jL ?
I've been practicing the loop but every time after the first bomb and i land the dash my 5M to 5S won't connect for the second part.

Its done by holding back as you're pressing the first j.L.

If you mean j.MLL > JC > j.M > j.S > j.2S? Yeah its probably you aren't delaying your Super Dash enough or aren't delaying your j.S.

Well you're first off not doing the universal air combo which means that combo you're doing will drop on small characters. Second, yeah, you aren't delaying the Super Dash or j.S.
i never seem to be able to connect the forward circle heavy and i have no idea why

i keep missing the 5S *i think* by shooting volleys instead of the quick single shot causing it to go off late. I turn on the input display and see clearly that I input S > 2S, but over and over the 5S misses too late. Not sure wtf I'm doing wrong
beckmanator69 I was having the same exact problem. Try holding up when you hit that 5S. It works every time for me when I do that instead.
Actually i fixed the inconsistency by making sure i press forward/up separately from the light attacks, instead of nearly at the same time.

I have a few problems with this combo
1) I have problems landing the second bomb loop without. My opponent will just recover before I hit him
2) Even if I did manage to land the 2nd bomb loop by luck, my oppenent AWLAYS recovers before I can land the 236 M or H.

I really tried for hours, the rest of the combo flows nice, but I REALLY can't land that no matter what...

You're probably inputting the j.MLL (before the 2nd j.M) too slowly. Its gotta be pretty quick.
Can't land the 236H, Sometimes I do the imput and nothing happens. I must be doing it too fast (I guess) but if I delay it any more it just misses. Do you have to delay anything besides the SD?
Lol I pinned it in the comments and put it in the description. Delaying your last j.S before the 2nd bomb helps too.

well i just got it, you have to time the super dash righttt with the sound of the bomb like you said

khronelle_ You'd have to do a different route cause you've used your Smash as well as your Super Dash pretty early on. There's a combo for it in my doc iirc.
